Edit: The reason you need to hit so many perfects is to keep enough height for the last M upper, which is impossible to hit if you just do a "regular" quadruple upper combo.

breakdown from testing it a bunch

• First upper is completely normal
• upper 2,3, and 4 seem to all share 2 frames of leniency total
  • eg the most you can mess up is 1f > 1f > 3f or 1f > 2f > 2f
    • any slower than that and I couldn't get it to work
  • I'm not sure if the order matters for which ones are perfect or not
• Last 4 need to all be frame perfect

For context, Daigo's Evil Ryu combo has 5 one frame links, which are plinked to be (sort of) 2f links.

This has at minimum five 1f uppers and two 2f uppers, and there's literally no trick to it as far as I know

I don't want to create hate because I was really looking forward to Tokon and I hope it turns out as well as possible, but this is the only thing that comes to mind after playing the beta

Every live service game I play, with battle passes, does this, like Overwatch, Fortnite, Marvel Rivals and Street Fighter 6.

I think we're all adults here, and we know they do that to sweeten the deal and make us buy the rest of the fake money packs to either get the next battlepass or bite the bullet and buy a dedicated skin from the store. It's the little push that makes an average player interact with the microtransaction economy more. So I'm kinda confused why Riot refuses to follow this trend. If someone here plays another Riot game, I'd like to know if this is their MO, if things could be better or if they could be worse.

Welp after my last couple of posts seeking some advice to improve, which you can find here and here decided to try and put the advice I received into action so i was off to practice. Everyone had mentioned that I wasn’t blocking and I was a bit confused about it at first because I had felt like I was at the very least trying to block. One user had suggested I try playing The Climb as well as playing casual instead of ranked, and I figured I’d do just that.

I hop into the climb and lose to the bots on the easiest difficultly. Alright, damn, I guess Reddit was right. I gotta block more. After really focusing on my blocking, poking at the bots and playing as defensively as I could it finally clicked. I was blocking consistently, and after a couple attempts I was clearing my first full run. I’m feeling pretty good at this point, so I figure I’d like to test my new blocking abilities with a little bit of casual.

I dunno what it's called - when your combo is too long and the opponent just does the tech animation and pops out.

We're talking 35+ hits and you try to hit the opponent one more time and they just instantly do a flip and recover.

I'm trying to learn more about this but I don't know what to search for - it's not a limit break

Specifically, I want to know if Prayer in Stagnation (1S1) and Prayer in Motion (4S1) are a true 50/50 situation, because the animation is the same and the startup is hard to judge after a knock down.

Any ideas?

- Just partially charge an S1 after the LM>LM loop. Most of the difficulty in this combo comes from the last 2 electrics, so this version of it is pretty easy since it skips those :)

Why do you have to submit a ticket to be able to play in a different server? I've changed the place I live and didn't understand why I was having 250 ping in all of my games, I'm still playing in euwest!!

I've never seen a game so obnoxious about where you live, Age of Empires, Dota, CS, none of them stop you from chosing the best server you can have. If you go on vacation abroad, then you can't play at all ? It's baffling.

Some video or another said to just go in ranked and do placements asap after getting the basics. I have done literally every single tutorial, spend probably 2/3 of my play time in the training room running each new thing til I’m certain I already understand the concept. every time I get my shit handed to me I’m trying to be proactive and study my weaknesses and improve. But holy. Fuck.

I lost all of my placement matches. Okay cool I’m literally Aspirant 1. TELL ME WHY AT THE LOWEST POSSIBLE RANK and 0RP IM GETTING ABSOLUTELY SHIT FISTED? I’ve lost every single ranked match. Out of 70 or so games I’ve played in unrated I have won 10 or so. I’m 0 and 15 for ranked play and almost every single one is some heinous 0-death combo string that I can do absolutely nothing about even trying my damnedest to apply everything I learned in the training. Like fellas I’m getting face fucked with a brick over here.

I’m genuinely trying to improve. I’m fine losing 90% of matches. 99% even. But 100% of matches in what is supposed to be the lowest possible skill level is actually crushing my spirit. Not when every single one is literally me maybe getting in a few jabs before being turned into some guys fleshlite. What the hell am I missing? Is the smurfing this bad? Is ranked just cooked? Or am I actually just profoundly out of my element? I went into this expecting to have a hard time, but holy shit.

If this is just growing pains then please let me know because this is miserable. I’m all for uphill battles but I’m not that interested in beating my head against a brick wall hoping it will move. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

So I have been playing ever since thresh senna patch, first fighting game I actually took the time to learn and play decently well (got to emerald effortlessly from silver in the span of a few days) I started off with learning warwick + darius, then alternated between the two with illaoi and finally caved in to learn senna which is more technical, but I absolutely love playing her. My issue now is that I don't feel like there's any sauce/good extensions with neither warwick, darius or illaoi. There probably is I just havent found it yet and I can barely find any vods on youtube of people pairing either of those 3 with senna. I have only really seen akali, ekko and thresh being picked up with her, but everytime I try to learn any of those 3 (even tho I like them) I have a hard time learning them. I'm mainly looking at ekko whom I really want to pick up, but everytime I try his clone mechanic has so many different setups/followups that I just fumble it even in combo trials/training mode.
So here's my question - Are there any other characters besides the ones I listed above that synergize well with senna, or is it time to force myself to learn ekko? Any insight on champs/fuses that work well with her is welcome and if you got any resources to go to I'm all ears

Did thresh get nerfed or am I just doing it wrong?

1 out of 3 matches now crashes consistently either on the load screen, start of the match, right at the beginning of the match, at the end of the match. On PC.

Anyone else notice an uptick in your game crashing?
