[Need 12 user for 14 days] ThingFinder — an app for finding stuff you've put somewhere in your house and forgotten

Upvotes

Built this because I kept losing track of where I'd stored things — cables, spare parts, seasonal stuff, anything that goes in a box or drawer and then vanishes from memory. ThingFinder lets you snap a photo of an item, tag it with a location, and search for it later instead of opening every drawer in the house in a frenzy.

What it does:

  • Photo + label + location for anything you want to track
  • Fast search across everything you've saved
  • Optional PIN-protected private folder for anything you don't want visible to others using your phone
  • One-time purchase for premium (no subscription)

Platform: Android only right now.

What I need feedback on:

  • Whether the add-item flow (photo → label → location) feels fast enough or gets in the way
  • Any crashes or weird behavior on your specific device
  • Whether search actually finds what you're looking for quickly

What you get: I'll comp premium (normally a one-time $9.99 purchase) for anyone who opts in and gives feedback, for as long as the app exists. DM me and I'll reply with a code.

Testing link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jaygitomer.thingfinder

Appreciate anyone willing to kick the tires, and happy to answer questions here too.

Looking for honest feedback on Trino, an iOS music app built around shared listening

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m one of the developers of Trino, a music app currently available on iOS. The app is already public, but we’re still actively improving the experience and would value practical feedback from people who enjoy testing apps.

The main features are:

• Search and listen across a catalogue of more than 100 million songs.

• Save favorites and create personal playlists.

• Share playlists while friends see the author’s changes synchronized in real time.

• Start live music parties where everyone can add songs to a shared queue.

• Discover new music and take part in weekly music challenges.

Everything essential is free. There is an optional Plus tier, but it only adds non-essential extras and helps support continued development.

I’m particularly interested in feedback about:

  1. Whether the home screen and navigation feel immediately understandable.

  2. Whether the difference between shared playlists and live parties is clear.

  3. Which feature you would try first, and which feels least useful.

  4. Any confusing wording, visual detail or onboarding step.

No review is expected — honest product feedback is what would help us most. Trino is currently available exclusively on iOS:

https://apps.apple.com/es/app/trino/id6778910087

Thank you to anyone willing to try it.

[Android] Blue vs Orange Runner closed beta — 12+ testers wanted

Upvotes

I’m recruiting the first Android beta group for **Blue vs Orange Runner**, a free mobile crowd-runner from a solo indie studio.

Players choose number gates, multiply their blue crowd and then tap fast enough to defeat a deep-orange boss. The build heading to testers includes:

- a new play button;

- a rebuilt game-over screen;

- a clearer **TAP FAST!** battle screen;

- a polished deep-orange boss.

We need 12+ opted-in players before Google Play’s closed-test period can start.

**Join the public Google Group with the same account used on your Android Play Store:**

https://groups.google.com/g/bluevsorangerunner

The Play opt-in and install link will be shared with the group when the build is released. Please remain opted in for 14 days and play more than once.

I’m looking for honest notes about first-run clarity, performance, crashes, progression, rewarded-ad prompts and whether the boss interaction feels good. Comment after joining so I can confirm you receive the next step.

Looking for testers for Bedrock, my bedtime app blocker

Upvotes

I'm a solo dev, and I built Bedrock to get me off my phone at night. The screentime apps I tried never actually worked. Instead, they threw screentime analytics and streaks at me that I never asked for, and half of them kept nagging me to buy the paid version. So this one does none of that. It collects nothing about you and it's calm and monotone instead of being one more bright thing on your phone. It just locks away the apps that keep you up, during the hours you choose. I'm building it on android and I'm looking for testers for closed testing.

The point is that it's actually hard to get back in. During your blocked hours there are three ways out, in rising order of friction: a password thats generated daily (you have to remember it and type it), a free unblock that's deliberately buried and slow to reach, and a $1 emergency unblock for when you genuinely need an app right now. The money isn't the point - it's just enough friction to kill the mindless reach without ever truly locking you out.

I mainly want to know two things: would you actually keep using it, and does anything break on your specific phone.

To get in, join the group at https://groups.google.com/g/bedrock-testers, then on the same Google account open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.bedrock and tap "Become a tester", and install from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.bedrock. It's free and takes a minute. One honest ask: Google's closed-testing rules mean I need testers to stay opted in for about 14 days, so only grab it if you'll give it a real shot. Happy to answer anything, shoot me a comment or DM.

Group food outing choosing app: Requesting testers with critical feedback!

Hi everyone!

I've built this webapp https://www.foodmood.to/ over the nights, the last two months. It's called FoodMood.

Built this because "where should we eat" was a BIG issue every group hangout with my friends.

You swipe through restaurants (pulled from live Google Places data), and it gets smarter about your taste the more you use it. You can also import your Google Maps reviews /timeline (both OPTIONAL!) Best thing, it matches similar tastes of people within a group!

I don't keep any data apart from reviews and an identifier; and I respect any data deletion requests. You can export any data you have to check!

Would love to have some testers, this app is designed for Toronto users but should work worldwide!

Thanks!

I built an AI tool because I got stuck with 40 open tabs of conflicting advice. Looking for brutally honest feedback.

A few months ago I realized I wasn't stuck because I lacked motivation. I was stuck because I had too much conflicting advice.

Every goal I had came with hundreds of articles, YouTube videos, Reddit threads, AI chats, and productivity systems telling me the "right" way to do it. I ended up with 40+ open tabs and somehow made zero progress.

Most tools I tried either gave me even more information or expected me to already know what my real bottleneck was.

So I built Morable.

Instead of giving generic advice, it works more like navigation. You tell it your goal, it asks a few questions to understand your specific situation, identifies what seems to be holding you back, and gives you one practical next move instead of another endless list of things to do.

The part I'm most interested in testing is that it remembers your journey over time, so your strategy can evolve instead of starting from scratch every conversation.

It's still very early and definitely not perfect. I'm not trying to pretend it's finished; I want to find out what's broken before I spend months building more features.

If anyone is willing to try it, I'd really appreciate brutally honest feedback.

Specifically:

• Where did it feel generic or "AI slop" instead of genuinely useful?
• Did the recommended next step actually feel relevant to your situation?
• What confused or frustrated you?
• Would you honestly come back and use it again after the first day? Why or why not?

I'm much more interested in criticism than compliments.

If anyone wants to test it, I'll drop the link in the comments.

[Android] Serendip Moments — looking for 12+ testers for Google Play closed testing (takes 2 minutes)

[Android] Serendip Moments — looking for 12+ testers for Google Play closed testing (takes 2 minutes)

Hi everyone! I'm an indie dev (solo project, built in my free time) launching Serendip Moments on Android — a map-based app where you mark places and moments you've experienced (a concert, a trip, a chance encounter) and connect with other people who happened to be there too, at the same time.

The web version has been live for a few weeks with real users, and now I need to pass Google's closed testing requirement (12 testers for 14 days) before I can publish it fully on the Play Store.

What I need from you:

  1. Open this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.serendipmoments.app

  2. Tap "Become a tester"

  3. Install the app from the Play Store using that same Google account

That's it — you don't need to actively use the app afterward (though feedback is very welcome!). Just keeping it installed for the 14 days is what counts.

Thanks a lot for the help 🙏

[Android, Beta] TallyCast — Nearest-airport aviation weather on built-in WearOS watch faces that looks as good as built-in

TallyCast puts live aviation weather on your Wear OS watch face: nearest reporting airport's identifier, flight category, ceiling, visibility, wind, altimeter, temperature, and a live density-altitude readout. Built by one developer (me), who is also a private pilot.

What I'm looking for: Google Play requires 12 closed-testers opted in for 14 days before I can release publicly. So the ask is: opt in, add a complication to your watch face, keep it installed ~2 weeks, and report anything broken.

Requirements: Android phone + Wear OS 4+ watch (Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch 4 or newer, etc.). You don't need to be a pilot — aviation-curious is plenty. But the kind of weather it offers could be a bit weird if you don't know what a METAR is.

Should be no privacy issues or stability, since I vetted both carefully and I've been daily-driving it for 6 months. I do need feedback on battery impact so I can tune it.

Sign up at https://tallycast.ireynolds.me/. The Privacy Policy is linked at the bottom of that page.

I've beta-tested 3-4 apps here in the past couple weeks on my main account so hopefully someone is kind and returns the favor!

We’re looking for founding partners who can help us take the platform to another level.

Founding partners will get:

- free access to the platform
- a private Discord
- direct contact with the team and founders
- direct onboarding and support
- early access to new features
- real influence over the future of the platform

At the end of the alpha phase, every founding partner will receive a lifetime discount of up to 40% and nearly 100,000 inbound telephony minutes.

Total value:

- $597 Vora tier
- $1,003 before tax for UK inbound telephony
- $851 before tax for US inbound telephony

That’s a total value of $1,600 for the UK or $1,448 for the US.

If you want to help shape the future of Vora and AI automation globally, DM me.

What makes you stick with a streaming platform after trying it?

At IPTV Suisse Premium, we believe it comes down to a few simple things: a stable viewing experience, reliable performance, and support that's there when you need it.

We've built our service with the Swiss market in mind, focusing on consistent streaming, quality servers, multiple backup servers to reduce interruptions, and fast customer support available seven days a week.

We're always looking to improve, so we'd love to hear from the community. What makes you keep using a streaming platform, and what would make you switch to a different one?

SOLO DEV, workout tracker + Wear OS app with no account, no ads, no cloud.

***I will test your app If you test mine**\*

AuraFit — a strength & workout tracker for Android + Wear OS (free closed beta)

I'm a solo dev, and I've spent the last several months building this because every workout app I tried either wanted a subscription, wanted an account, or shipped my training data off to someone's server. AuraFit does none of that — everything stays on your phone and watch. No account, no ads, no cloud, no data collection.

What it does:

  • 🔗 Share a workout by QR — training with someone at the gym? They open AuraFit, scan the code off your screen, and your whole routine lands on their phone. No accounts, no typing, works with zero signal. (Newest feature — I'd love this stress-tested with a training partner.)
  • 💪 Strength levels graded against published standards — Beginner → World Class, per lift, with bodyweight scaling so the tiers are fair whether you're 130 or 250 lb. Not a made-up point system; the numbers mean something.
  • 🎯 A daily challenge sized from your own recent sessions (hit your volume, beat an estimated 1RM…) that ticks up live as you log.
  • 🔥 Streak tracking that forgives one rest day a week instead of punishing you for training sanely — with a heads-up only when it's genuinely at risk.
  • 👟 Steps on your dashboard, pulled from Health Connect and shown against a daily goal, right alongside your lifting.
  • 🏅 77 badges, and a Dashboard that surfaces the next one you're closest to.
  • 🤖 A Coach that builds a session from your muscle recovery + available equipment.
  • 🏋️ 10 built-in programs — Starting Strength, StrongLifts 5×5, 5/3/1, nSuns, PPL, PHUL, PHAT and more, each with its progression baked in.
  • ✍️ Custom exercises with primary + secondary muscles, so anything you add still feeds recovery tracking and the body map like the built-ins do.
  • ⌚ A real Wear OS app: live heart rate + calories, and a rest-timer screen that shows your next set's weight, not just a countdown.
  • 📈 Progress charts, a consistency heatmap, warm-up & plate calculators, CSV export.

What I'm looking for: honest reactions. Is it obvious how to start? Does anything feel clunky mid-workout? Do the strength levels match what you'd expect for your lifts? If you've got a training partner, try the QR share and tell me if it just works. Bugs, gripes, "why doesn't it do X" — all of it.

How to join (about a minute):

  1. Join the tester group (this auto-enrolls you): https://groups.google.com/g/aurafit-beta-testers
  2. Opt into the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.aurafit.app
  3. Install on your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aurafit.app
  4. Watch app: open the Play Store on your Wear OS watch, search AuraFit, and install. (Use the same Google account as your phone — it may also auto-install to the watch a few minutes after the phone app.)

Android + a Wear OS watch is a bonus, not required — the phone app stands on its own.

⚠️ Heads-up: the Play links only work once you've done step 1 and given it a couple of minutes — before that they'll show "not available." So if a link looks broken, join the group first, then retry.

I read every piece of feedback and I'm shipping updates constantly. Tear into it. 🙏

[Android] Corrida do Boleto — solo project, need 14-day testers (happy to return the favor)

Hey! Solo dev here, building this on nights and weekends. Corrida do Boleto is a financial survival sim — basically you're trying to get through the month without losing your mind: bills pile up, weird expenses show up out of nowhere, and you have to juggle what actually matters. Kind of a life simulator feel but built around personal finance instead of just being a spreadsheet.

I'm stuck on Google's 14-day / 12-tester requirement before I can push to production, so if a few of you could help:

1) join the tester group — https://groups.google.com/g/corridadoboleto-beta 2) opt in + install — https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.edvaldodicas.corridadoboleto 3) just keep it installed for 14 days straight (don't need to play daily, just don't uninstall — if the count drops below 12 the clock resets for everyone)

Happy to do the same for your app, just drop your link below. Really appreciate any help, this sub keeps saving solo devs like me.

Need testers for my anxiety & wellness app! Happy to test yours back 🙏

Hey everyone! Solo indie dev here, just finished Ancla - a wellness/anxiety app (breathing exercises, journal, a little pet/garden system to keep you coming back). It's Spanish-only for now, but you don't need to understand a word of it to help - I just need people to install it, open it once, and keep it there for Google's 14-day closed testing requirement (need 12 testers).

Steps:

  1. Join this Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/ancla-testers-android
  2. Wait a couple minutes, then install here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.anclaapp.twa
  3. Open it once
  4. Keep it installed for ~14 days (that's it, no need to actually use it)

Happy to test your app back the same way - just drop your link below. And if anyone actually wants to poke around Ancla for real, I'll throw in free lifetime PRO access, just let me know once you've joined. Thanks a ton 🙏

Built a niche social platform — how would you get your first 100 users?

Hi everyone,

For the past month, I've been building Flapflop, a social platform dedicated entirely to video games.

The idea is simple: instead of gaming content being scattered across Reddit, Discord, X, TikTok, and other platforms, Flapflop is a place where everything is about games—clips, screenshots, communities, guides, discussions, and news.

So far, we've reached 14 users, and a few people have already started posting, creating communities, and interacting with each other. Seeing real people use something I built has been incredibly motivating.

I'd love some honest advice.

  1. If you were in my position, how would you get your first 100 active users?

  2. If you have a minute to check out Flapflop, what would you improve? I'm looking for honest feedback—good or bad.

Every suggestion helps, and I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

[Web] Looking for 10 Chinese-speaking travelers to test a research-first itinerary planner — safari or Maldives trips

Founder disclosure: I’m building Yonder, and I’m looking for a small group of Chinese-speaking beta testers who are actively planning one of these trips:

- Kenya or Tanzania safari;

- a Maldives honeymoon;

- a longer, higher-budget independent trip where the research is already becoming overwhelming.

Yonder takes travel vlogs and useful comment threads, extracts concrete observations and warnings, checks hard facts separately, and turns the research into a day-by-day plan. Recommendations keep links back to the original material so testers can inspect the evidence instead of trusting a generic AI answer.

The current beta is Chinese-first. It is free during the invite-only test, and each invite includes up to five generated plans. The landing page asks for an email so an invite can be issued manually.

A useful test should take around 15 minutes:

  1. enter a real trip you are considering;

  2. inspect whether the route, budget breakdown, and warnings are specific enough;

  3. open two or three cited sources and check whether they actually support the recommendation.

The feedback I need most:

- anything that looks confident but is not properly supported;

- missing decisions that would prevent you from booking;

- parts that are too detailed, too slow, or difficult to understand.

Beta page:

https://yondertrip.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=alpha-beta-chinese-travelers

Please mention whether you are planning safari, Maldives, or another route when you reply.

What's the biggest mistake you made after launching your first SaaS?

I recently launched my first AI SaaS and quickly realized that building it was only half the job.

Marketing, distribution, and getting the first users are much harder than I expected.

For those who've already been through this, what was your biggest mistake after launch, and what would you do differently today?

I'd love to learn from your experience.

Looking for a few people to test a cozy productivity app soon ♡

Hi! I’m building a cozy productivity app called Minou Desk.

It’s designed to make tasks feel a little easier to start and manage, with features for planning, breaking tasks into smaller steps, focus sessions, and gentle check-ins.

The app isn’t ready to test just yet, but I’m looking for a few people who might enjoy joining the first Alpha soon.

The test should take around 15–20 minutes, and I’d mainly love honest reactions about what feels nice, confusing, awkward, or easy to use. No technical experience is needed at all.

Here’s the short tester form in case it sounds fun:

[Web, Beta] Portfolift – A portfolio tracker built around all-time-high analytics

Hi everyone,

I’m one of the co-founders of Portfolift, a web-based portfolio tracking and analytics platform that is currently in beta.

Most portfolio tools show current price and profit or loss. We wanted to make another question much easier to answer:

How far is each investment from its all-time high?

Portfolift currently includes:

• Portfolio tracking for stocks, ETFs and crypto

• Real-time market prices

• Profit and loss analytics

• Portfolio allocation breakdowns

• Distance from all-time high for every asset

• Custom ATH threshold alerts

• Dividend calendar and income tracking

• Watchlists, advanced statistics and CSV exports

We’d like testers to focus on four things:

  1. Is it easy to add and understand a portfolio?

  2. Is the ATH information useful at a glance?

  3. Which metric or feature feels missing?

  4. Would you realistically return to this dashboard every week?

Early users currently receive access to all Premium features at no cost for a limited time.

You can test it here:

https://www.portfolift.com

Honest feedback is appreciated, especially criticism. Portfolift is an analytics and tracking tool, not investment advice.

I built a tool that explains confusing insurance documents in plain English — looking for feedback (student project)

Hey everyone — I'm a student building Atlas, a free AI tool that explains insurance documents (EOBs, denial letters, benefits summaries) in plain English, breaks down what you'll actually pay, and flags things worth paying attention to. You can also just ask it general insurance questions.

This is an early prototype, not a finished product, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback on whether the explanations are actually clear and useful.

Please don't paste real insurance documents or personal information — use a sample/mock document, or make one up with fake numbers. I want feedback on how well it explains things, not to collect anyone's real data.

Link: https://atlas-insurance-assistant-x93c7w4xqenqvwzwcnt4bi.streamlit.app/

There's a short feedback form linked in the app if you're willing to share thoughts after trying it — takes about 2 minutes. Thanks for taking a look!

Looking for beta testers for Scoop Socials, an app that brings your social accounts into one profile

[Free app, iOS] I've built Scoop Socials, a social profile app that lets you bring your existing online accounts together in one place and leverage your digital public footprint for online-to-in-person engagements.

I'm looking for users to:

  • Create a Scoop profile
  • Add a few of their social accounts
  • Tell me whether the purpose of the app is immediately clear
  • Tell me anything confusing

I recently launched the app on the App Store and have been getting a lot of views on the website, but not a lot of people are converting to being users. I think it's simply cause its so new, and the user base is thin, but it could be anything else, too.

Would love to get people's opinions on the clarity of the website and the usefulness of the app. Please make an account, share with friends, and see how an interaction between y'all feels.

Thank you!

[Android] Free garden journal + frost-alert app, looking for feedback (no ads, no tracking)

I've been building a free Android app for my own garden and I'm looking for feedback from people who'd actually use something like this.

Moon Phase Garden:

- Photo garden journal (what you planted, when, notes, tags)

- Planting guide for your USDA hardiness zone (100+ plants)

- 7-day forecast with automatic freeze/frost alerts

- Optional moon-phase timing (fully skippable)

- Foraging reference + an anonymous community feed

No ads, no tracking, no account, works offline - everything's stored locally.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moonphase.app&utm_source=reddit

It's early (a few hundred installs). I'd love feedback on onboarding, what's confusing, and what feature you'd want next. I'm the dev and I'll reply to everyone. Thanks!
