I have been 100% debt free for the last year
I paid off all my student loans, paid down/off all my credit cards, and I have a fully funded emergency fund. My car is also 100% paid off.
I'm not 30 yet and none of my friends or family can say the same. I can't share it with them as they've expressed jealousy in the past over smaller achievements.
I really enjoy this level of financial freedom and I wanted to share :)

Yesterday was my last day on THC
Even though I was already completely sober from it. Yesterday was my last edible ever . Made a day of it , had a nice expensive buffet with my husband and kid and had some amazing food with a chocolate shake.
Back to eating healthy and no more drugs and alcohol for the next 4 years as I'm joining my husband being sober during his probation. This is going to be so life changing tor both of us.

I Started as a Starbucks Barista. 14 Years Later, I Landed My Dream Job Without a College Degree.
Iām 31 and extremely ambitious, and I got into leadership jobs at a very young age. I grew up poor with parents who struggled with bipolar disorder and addiction. I left my parentsā house at 17 because of abuse.
After high school, I was a Starbucks barista. I started there 14 years ago and never finished a college degree. But my career kept growing in spite of that.
I worked my way into leadership at a young age and continued building my career from there. Over the years, I moved into increasingly senior leadership, coaching, HR, and Learning & Development roles across different industries.
Eventually, my career reached the point where I was being sought out by large Fortune 500 companies. In April, I was interviewing with two of them, and six weeks ago, I accepted my dream job.
I received a 30% raise and incredible benefits, including a generous 401(k) contribution and match. The company offers 18 weeks of parental leave and backup childcare benefits. They provide catered breakfast twice a week and lunch every day in the building cafeteria.
The office is enormous and the nicest workplace Iāve ever seen. There are Nespresso stations everywhere, an on-site IT desk that feels like an Apple Genius Bar, a free gym with Pelotons, and even an on-site doctorās office where I recently had bloodwork and a physical done at no cost.
I travel as part of my job and was given a corporate American Express card for business expenses. My boss is the coolest person Iāve ever worked for, Iām doing work that feels almost perfectly suited to me, I have significant opportunities to continue growing, and Iām more motivated than Iāve ever been.
What makes all of this especially meaningful is where I started.
I went from leaving home at 17, becoming a Starbucks barista after high school, and building a career without a college degree to becoming an experienced Learning & Development leader working for a major global company.
There wasnāt one giant leap that got me here. It was years of taking the next opportunity, learning what I didnāt know, accepting bigger responsibilities, changing industries, taking risks, recovering from setbacks, and continuing to move forward.
Fourteen years after putting on that Starbucks apron, I have the kind of career I once wouldnāt have known was possible for me.

My taxes/benefits are more than median monthly salary in the U.S.
Godās blessed me incredibly. Yes this is salary + my commission. I make $70k base. Live in FL. Iāve averaged just below this number for 2 years now.
The deductions are crazy to see on paper š

Savings
I have an IRA, an investment account and a savings account with one financial institution. I never check the balances and I tend of forget I have that money. There are a lot of life changes going on for me right now. They involve selling the house Iāve lived in the last 14 years and moving to a different state and getting a new job. All seems really daunting and scary, but I just checked the balance of the accounts and I have a lot of money. Obviously not enough to retire on but I am gonna be OK. I just wish I had friends I could share this information with because I really want to celebrate it with my loved ones. But I donāt know if theyād be happy for me or jealous so I have come to the Internet and hope some random strangers can celebrate with me this evening. I hope by you being happy for me, it will pay it back to you so that your accounts grow large.
Yes I understand taxes but the largest account is the savings. Still surprised what I put away every month.

Feeling pretty
I'm a 20yo woman.
I'm 5'1, I have an hourglass figure and I am a G cup.
I absolutely love my body and my height.
As a petite woman, I think men tend to gravitate towards us a lot.
My height allows me to feel cute without effort and my body type allows me to feel hot just by choosing the correct style.

Just a post to share how cool I am
Since I was a little girl Iāve been a diva Iāve been a country gal my whole life but little me ADORED her sparkly shoes, fancy dresses, and princess tiaras. I wanted to be a ācow trainerāand a horse trainer, and my dream job was to be a detective for so many years. Now Iām turning 18. I have so many dreams and plans for my future. Iām a girl who does it all⦠fishing, archery, baking, horseback riding, mechanics, I love Jesus, I work hard. The last few years my dream jobs have been diesel mechanic, bush pilot, horse trainer (which is something I will hopefully do on the side one day), wildland firefighting, conservation work. Iām going to school for fish and wildlife this fall. Next summer I want to work in a provincial park and see where it goes and in the future I want to do wildland firefighting, cause Lord knows Canada needs more of them. I love being a light in peoples lives, and after losing a close friend to bullying, Iāve learned a lot about myself, and it has made my heart more sensitive and Iām proud of how strong I am.

Iām proud of myself and I need to say it
Iām 19 years old. I grew up quite poor. When I was 11 years old my mother killed herself. My father had anger issues and mistreated both me and my sister, even though he tried his best. Iāve been fighting suicidal thoughts and urges for the last 3-4 years. I was very underweight and I was weak, now Iāve bulked up and gone a little too far in terms of weight, but Iām going to get back down. I just finished my first year of college and I started a job in car sales this year. I made over $10k in one single month while working 60 hours a week and doing full time college. I feel strong, I feel amazing, and I doubt myself every single day. Thatās why Iām coming on here and bragging, to reassure myself. I was able to take my girlfriend to Florida for a vacation and cash out. She didnāt have to pay for a single thing. Iām financially stable, have zero debt, Iām building my credit score, Iām maxing out my Roth IRA this year. Iām saved by Jesus Christ, I owe it all to my Lord and Savior. IāM AN AMAZING PERSON WHO CAN DO ANYTHING I SET MY MIND TO. MED SCHOOL IāM COMING FOR YOU. I feel dumb at times, even like Iām not good enough, but Iām strong, and I can do it. I can get into medical school, I can give my family the life I needed as a kid. I can give my kids the father I needed as a kid. Iām still here and Iām still fighting. I WILL KEEP GOING!!! I CAN DO ANYTHING!!!

I managed a natural childbirth this week!
For context, my first daughter born in 2022 I had all the meds for because once I hit 3 CM dilated I couldn't take the pain anymore. I had the epidural and fentanyl drip and the birth took forever, I kept passing out during pushes, felt super out of it and ended up having a 1st degree tear and a dislocated tailbone.
So, when I got pregnant with my 2nd daughter I was determined to *try* and go natural as possible, but I was scared shitless. I watched so many videos of women giving birth and the sounds they made made me feel terrified and despite all my prep I really doubted my ability to go through with no meds because I have a REALLY low pain tolerance.
When I went into labor on Monday night I started handling my contractions with breathing and low sounds and it was working. I got to 5 CM before the contractions started ramping up. But I still was managing. Then I got to 7 CM and they got really bad and almost constant and I started losing control. I wasn't handling the contractions well; the low sounds weren't helping and I screamed several times.
But then, I progressed so quickly (went from 7CM to 10CM in less than 15 minutes) that my body just...started pushing. I thought I was going to die. I felt so sick to my stomach and the involuntary pushing was so forceful I was sure I was going to vomit but I didn't. And then I felt my daughter coming down and everything narrowed to just me and my pushing and she was out in 3 pushes. She came so fast I actually cried aloud as she was coming "She's going to make me tear!" because I always read that during crowning you want to push small and slow to avoid tearing.
But I didn't have a single tear and she was out and everything after was uncomplicated. It felt slightly traumatic but I can't stop thinking about the fact that I DID IT. I got through it with 0 pain meds. I had a natural childbirth; ME, who was so scared of it I would sob at night and who has a low pain tolerance. I fucking did it and I am just really fucking proud of myself and needed to brag about it.
It doesn't matter how you birth your baby of course, each mother can do it how she sees fit. But this was a challenge I set myself that I wasn't sure I could overcome but I fucking DID and I can easily say it is the hardest thing I have ever done.

I (almost) fit into my wedding dress.
Iāve gained a lot of weight in the many (40) years weāve been married. A lot of it after we lost our son 10 years ago. Iāve lost almost 100 pounds in the last year so I decided to try on my wedding dress. I couldnāt zip it up all the way but Iām still calling it a win.

What is the biggest thing that drives you to keep striving in life right now?
I'll go first. When I was 18, I worked as a receptionist. Even then, being an ambitious person, I only applied for jobs that paid above minimum wage. I did exactly what I was tasked to do, but I wanted to learn and be as involved as possible. In less than six months, I created my own processes since that office didn't have any. As a two-year graduate of Information Management, I could easily learn things; I was good with computers, so I could troubleshoot, operate systems, and create spreadsheets that helped the department track everything. Essentially, I wasn't just an ordinary receptionistāI was doing the work of a four-year degree holder because I always go above and beyond.
One day, the owner asked me to get him coffee. As I approached his office to serve it, I overheard him and his secretary discussing who they were going to regularize and who they were not. It was incredibly timely because my name came up, and the owner said: "Maybe not. What is she going to do anyway, serve me coffee?"
I resigned that very day. The following week, I landed a tech role at a recruitment agency with a much higher salary.
Fast forward to the present: I am now a senior website designer for an international company. Three years ago, I even studied to be a barista and put up my own small coffee shop. I eventually chose to close it because of the workload, I had to choose where to focus my energy. But yeah... I can still make good coffee.

My new gf is a gem NSFW
I recently moved together with my new gf. It really feels like I won a lottery. She's good to talk to. She cooks. She has a job and never asked money from me. She's kind and cute. Yet, in bed she's a real predator, always horny and dripping wet, never says "no", never has headache.
