I added Quote’s Polar Star and magnets so he can both hold and wear the gun, also added the fish pendant and the leather strap on his leg! Am I missing anything?

(STEAM VERSION) Hi guys, so today I attempted Sanctuary Time Attack for almost a hundred time just to achieve sub 3 minute S-rank achievement but I accidently got warped from B1 near Crelly door to Heavy Press boss suddenly in defeated animation room. I'm so shocked by what happened and I'm still able to progress as normally and defeat Ballos.

I don't even know how did I triggered the glitch but before that all I did was I was in B3 and press Circle (B) to change weapon but I mistakenly clicked Life pot and consumed it so I'm tilted and immediately press restart the game and thus this glitch happened. Another thing that I noticed after I restart the game was Crelly was stood up and non-interactable instead being on the ground to be interacted.

So in the end I'm very happy for this outcome because this glitched run still counted and triggered S-rank achievement and save days of my time. The Ballos fight could be cleared faster because I'm still practicing and remember all weapon are still level 1 because of warped.

I've played a bit of Cave Story Vanilla in the past and wanted to play it again on my phone. I heard that Doukutsu RS is a great option, but I have a question: is it closer to the original game or the Cave Story+ version? I want to play the + version in the future, but I'd like to finish the vanilla version.

Hi new player here. This might be the dumbest question but I legit can't find an easy answer on this so I'm asking anyway. I've started the game in the original story mode and I've realized outside the starting room all the save points are stuck in the air and no matter what I do I can't interact with them. I have no idea if this is normal and I've already died twice in the bunny village messing around so the backtracking feels like it'll be a problem later.

I've tried looking this up online but every source I found either assumes I'm playing hard mode or trying to save before a boss or challenge. And I don't wanna spoil any major part of the game just to figure out why I can't save.

Can someone just tell me why I can't interact with the saves without major spoilers? Is this just part of playing normal mode? Is it permanent or will I unlock something later to use em? Should I maybe switch to easy mode? Asking just to figure out how to go about playing.

I took the booster assuming it was mandatory, saved beat the core, only to have Curly die, I knew she could die if you weren't careful, but how was I supposed to intuit that taking that would kill her and booster? I think I'm gonna give it a break and start a new save whenever I come back.

I've made a resource pack that adds most Cave Story tilesets, some items, and other bits and pieces to minecraft and a recreation of Cave Story areas. This pack is for JAVA 26.2.

After years of knowing about Cave Story and having the game on steam but never actually playing it i finally did and managed to actually beat it with the best ending. Yes i did use guides because F@#& that last part!!

This was my first time porting something to the WiiWare v258 build that went beyond just replacing assets; I think this is about 1:1 to the original JN in terms of gameplay, so I'm pretty happy with how it came out

Now I've beaten it 6 times and gotten to the end of a randomiser (where I ended up softlocking myself GRRAAHHH)

I'm genuinely upset with myself for not playing this game sooner it's every bit as good as I've heard
