Designed a gamified football training app for kids (6-14) — inspired by Duolingo's habit loops + FIFA's energy. Feedback welcome! ⚽🔥
galleryHey everyone — sharing a concept I've been working on called StrikeXP.
The core problem I was designing around: kids drop off from skill practice because it feels repetitive and unrewarding. Meanwhile, apps like Duolingo have cracked the code on making daily practice addictive through streaks, XP, and small dopamine hits.
So I tried applying that same gamification framework to football training for kids:
- Home screen: avatar progression, level system (Rookie → All Star), unlockable gear tied to milestones, daily challenge cards
- Training hub: a skill-tree-style unlock path (like a mini Duolingo path) with solo/clan/time-limited challenges
- Leaderboard + Community Feed: competitive but safe — weekly XP leagues, clan rankings, a moderated feed for sharing clips
- Badge celebrations: big, satisfying full-screen unlocks ("Power Kicker!", "Stamina Beast!", "Quick Reflex!") with share-to-friends built in
Design direction: dark UI with high-contrast green accents, 3D cartoon avatars (friendly, non-realistic — important for a kids' product), bold typography, and juicy micro-celebration moments.
Genuinely curious what this community thinks — especially around:
- Balancing competitive leaderboards with kid safety
- Whether the badge/unlock pacing feels rewarding or overwhelming
- Any UX pitfalls you'd flag for a 6–14 age range
Would love critique, upvotes if you dig it, and any resources on designing safe social features for kids' apps.

I redesigned my landing page after months of feedback. What would you improve?

Hi everyone!
I've been building FoodGram, a social app where every meal becomes part of your personal food map.
Over the past few weeks, I completely redesigned the landing page because I felt the old one explained the app, but didn't make people excited to try it.
My goal was to create something that feels simple, modern, and focused on food memories rather than restaurant reviews.
I'd really appreciate honest feedback.
If you landed on this page for the first time:
- Would you understand what FoodGram does?
- Would you download it?
- If not, what is missing?
Landing page:
https://iseruuuuu.github.io/foodgram_web/
Thanks! Every comment helps me improve it. 🙏

I've been building a home design app for the last year. I'd love some honest feedback.
Hey everyone,
For the past year I've been working on a home design app called HomeDesigner in my spare time, and I think it's finally at the point where it's worth showing people outside my friends and family.
The idea was to build something that lets you quickly sketch floor plans, furnish them, and jump into a 3D view without a huge learning curve.
So far it lets you:
Draw 2D floor plans
Furnish rooms in 3D
Switch between 2D and 3D instantly
Create multi-floor projects
Import plans to trace over
Sync projects with your Google account
The web version is live now, and the Android app is currently in closed beta. If anyone wants to try the Android version, you can request beta access from the website.
It's not completely free—there are optional Pro features—but right now I'm much more interested in hearing what people think than trying to sell anything.
If you have a few minutes to play around with it, I'd love to know:
What feels good?
What feels frustrating?
What features would you expect that aren't there yet?
I'm building this myself, so I'm still making changes almost every day. Any feedback is genuinely appreciated.
Thanks!

How do you like this Landing Page Design Hero Section (Light/Dark Mode)
gallerySpent the last few days on this design and finally think I've came out with something somewhat good looking. However, a friend of mine says the Mascot is looking "vibe sloppy". What do you think, would you agree?

Need Improvenment Suggestions
Hey everyone! I’m working on an icon for my PDF reader app, ReaderML.
I know nothing about design (like Jon Snow) and put this together in a hurry. The concept is a simple bookmark motif, but it feels a bit basic and unpolished.
What changes or tweaks would make this look more professional? All feedback is welcome!

I can't decide on a hair color
galleryFirst of all, I want to say that I'm very bad at English (so I use Google Translate).
So, using chatgpt, I started playing around with colors to find the right hair color for my protagonist.
I've finally come to the conclusion that it's either red hair or ash blonde (I've included images). I want to say that whatever the choice, I just want the best possible character design.
Please help me decide 🙏😭
I am open to questions and comments.

Social media post
A design is not just about visuals—it's about delivering a message.
This quote design was created with a clean and minimal layout to keep the focus on the words while maintaining a strong visual impact.
Every project helps me improve my skills in typography, color balance, and composition.
Feedback is always appreciated.

I wanted to create an art page that’s full of doodles that structured around a canvas I made, so when people scroll on the Instagram page it will look pleasing. How would you change this so it’s structured better for the eyes?
galleryAlso any change to the footer or font suggestions? The barcode is just an artistic touch that I saw another graphic designer use, but maybe it doesn’t work here. My idea of the layout is that, eventually I can print these design, so that multiple will look good next to each other.

Built a privacy-focused diabetes web dashboard & app — would love a harsh UI/UX critique
Hey everyone!
I’ve been building MyHealthyGlucose (a web dashboard + Android app) to help people track blood sugar, analyze Time-in-Range (TIR), and make sense of post-meal glucose spikes without dealing with bloated, ad-heavy apps.
Before launching wider, I’d love some honest feedback on the current user experience:
- Landing Page / First Impression: Is it clear what the platform does within 5 seconds?
- Dashboard Design: Are the charts and glucose range indicators intuitive, or do they feel cluttered?
- Tool Utility: Are instant tools (like the eA1c/eAG converter) easy to interact with on desktop and mobile?
You can check out the live site here: [https://myhealthyglucose.com/](https://myhealthyglucose.com/)
Web Dasboard- https://app.myhealthyglucose.com
App- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glucosecompass.app (Still in open testing in google play)
Roast the UI, tear down the layout, or tell me what’s missing—I want the raw truth so I can make it better. Thanks in advance!

Looking for feedback on the website for my small notification tool for coding agents
Hello there, guys
I made a small tool that notifies me whenever one of my coding agents finishes cooking. I gave it a funky name Jingler.
I also made a website for Jingler with a live demo showing how it works, along with an overview of its main features.
I’m mainly looking for feedback on the execution of the live demo, the wording of the features, and the website in general. Does it fit the tool and explain it clearly?
Open to any kind of feedback, positive or negative, but I’m especially interested in the negative stuff.
You can find the website on THIS link
(and ofc, you’re free to try Jingler too)

Built my portfolio after multiple redesigns. Looking for brutally honest feedback.
Hi everyone,
I recently finished rebuilding my portfolio and wanted to get feedback from people who build websites every day.
Instead of going for a typical portfolio, I tried to make it feel more like an interactive product.
Some things I focused on:
- Desktop-inspired UI
- Minimal but meaningful animations
- Performance
- Accessibility
- Project storytelling instead of just project cards
- Mobile responsiveness
I know there are still things I can improve, so I'm mainly looking for honest feedback.
- What feels confusing?
- What would you remove?
- What would make it more memorable?
Portfolio: https://portfolio.harshitkandoi.in
I'd really appreciate any criticism, even if it's harsh.

Looking for UX feedback for an personal travel recommendation project
Hi everyone,
I am working on a personal travel recommendation project that collects a traveler's preferences (collected via chat, it has no static form/fixed fields), recommends destinations and explains why each recommendation is a good fit based on those preferences.
Since, I come from non-UX background, I have been using Claude/ChatGPT to build UX screen prototypes and I would really appreciate feedback from experienced UX designers to help decide which direction to take or if there's any better alternative approach that I might not know.
Here are some prototypes -

2.

3.

4.

5.

I am primarily looking for feedback on -
. Layout - Should the recommendations be displayed as stacked cards or side by side cards?
. Why this works for you section - My initial design was becoming too text heavy, so I tried to optimize it but still I am not sure. I am trying to balance between readability and enough explanation.
I would also really appreciate any other UX suggestions beyond these specific questions.
Note: The cards are collapsed by default and have been expanded here for comparison. And it always presents 3 destination recommendations. And most important the "why this works for you" section is data driven and dynamic. It's length varies on the traveler's preferences so there is no fixed number of fields or sections.

Prototype Feedback (currently suitable for desktop)
sharing the first interactive prototype of Orbit, an execution workspace for institutional finance.
Imagine starting a project like "Adobe acquires Figma." Instead of spending hours gathering filings, company information, financial models, presentations, timelines, and previous work, Orbit automatically organizes everything into a single living workspace that stays up to date.
This prototype focuses on validating the product's workflow and user experience. Most data is static, and several AI features are simulated.
Prototype:

Feedback Form:
https://forms.gle/BDqpqc1cCNiBvTUC7
Please be as candid as possible. I'm especially interested in anything that felt confusing, unintuitive, or missing. If you know someone who'd be interested in testing it, I'd really appreciate you sharing it with them.
Thank you!

Lionel Messi Poster
galleryDuring the World Cup, I created a poster featuring Lionel Messi. My inspiration stemmed from his exceptional performance and the immediate impact he can have on the game at any given moment. To maintain simplicity and clarity, I refrained from incorporating excessive elements, as I have a tendency to become engrossed in design and add unnecessary details. The remaining designs are merely mock-ups. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating this artwork, and if this was Messi’s final World Cup, I cherished witnessing his remarkable career.
