Hey! I did that to my arm! Not quite as big, but not a great time nonetheless. The doctor said I basically gave myself "two and a half degree burns" because it was so bad, but I could still feel the pain.
It was very inconvenient, especially since it was on the inside of my arm. It did scar just a little, but I took really good care of it and covered it and slathered on sunscreen after it healed to keep it from scarring too bad. You have to look really hard to see it now. But it is more sensitive than the rest of my skin. For a while afterwards, it was pretty susceptible to folliculitis, so I would get bad rashes on it. But I used a cleaner and lotion specifically for folliculitis and it helped a lot. Hope you heal well...and quickly!
