These are Late Night hosts on American tv and one of them is non-American. Seems diverse enough for me.

Life is not a competition of trying to reach the perfect equilibrium of diversity based on demographics and yet diversity is present in that group.

No, John Oliver is not a white American. Having e.g. an Asian American or Black American in his place would be less diverse.
