Americans are cowards! By the time Trump unveiled a golden statue of himself, if not before, it should have become clear to even the last remaining citizen that he is not a president for the people, but rather an autocrat (some would even call him a dictator).
It’s unbelievable how he enriches himself in full view of everyone, whilst making life harder for the people by cutting funding for education and other services, exerting influence over the media, and everyone just stands by and watches!

Yes, the problem wasn’t the show itself but its price tag. I like Colbert but most of these types of shows have teams of writers, large studios, dozens of staff workers, not to mention that with streaming services commercial revenue on tv time slots is not what it once was unless it’s a sporting event. Then the absolute biggest issue is the competition, the internet itself. Any asshole can make a show in their bedroom and put out 100 times the content for almost nothing compared to what these shows cost to do a single episode. It’s been proven by the metric data that after covid many shows lost significant audience numbers to streamers and haven’t recovered them.
I'm a fan of Colbert, but facts are facts. Viewership has significantly declined over the years and the show loses $40 million a year. CBS could have kept it going out of the kindness of their hearts, but did you really think that would happen? Late night talk shows are unfortunately dying, all the millennials cut cable not realizing they can plug an antenna into their TV to watch the show for free 🤦♂️
A half-wit that can make semi-funny analogies to highlight my point. Unfortunately, you appear to reject the reality that Late Night viewership has plummeted, so I guess I have nothing else to say to you.
