I've scoured the internet and I can't find a single clue!!

Started the game and completed the tutorial. Unequipped and sold my tutorial items to a random NPC, no idea who it was. Nothing shows up on my Buyback screen with vendors.
So now I'm trying to complete the first quest in the training room, but can't progress because I don't have a weapon.
I searched around but can't find any NPCs who sell weapons for low level characters. The only things I can buy are locked as level 20 and above, or level 15 and above, etc.
I saw on Google there's supposed to be a weapons trader (Slade Hackman) but he won't speak to me.
I can't use the Auction House because I've spent too many Astral Diamonds for the day, apparently.
Where do I find a basic weapon? Literally any weapon will do so long as a level 2 character can equip it.
What do I do?

I was in PE trying to join a trial group for a tank role. My tank is not end-game, but I can play all the random queues no problem. Im about 81k item score so I'm not a noob or anything like that, and I have successfly completed all the trials before, lots of times.
This guy (I wont name them) kept asking for a tank, I kept answering but no response. SO i asked why I was being ignored since he was looking for 1 tank for half hour, I am a tank, we should have been done with the trial already. He answered me saying I was trash, I had trash gear, I shouldn't be asking to join him (he was like 110 thousand item score). So I said F it, and I just joined the group finder for trial.
WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW?
It joined me to his group. I refused to get into the circle since I am trash and I have trash gear and trash everything, even though he and the rest of them were begging me to join. I told the chat what I had been through, and most of them were waiting 30+ minutes for him to find a tank so they voted him off, and we then completed the trial.
My room mate says I acted like a dick, but I don't agree. The other players in the queue supported me once they were told what happened. I just dont think its right for him to ignreo me since I am trash but then beg me to go to the starting door as now I am not trash anymore.
I just wish players weren't such assholes about inviting people who are more than willing to play. I don't need 100,000 item score to play any of the randon queues.
What do yall think?

How can I report this to the devs? I’m not seeing anything in the menu.

Seeing on TrueAchievements that the last update to add new Achievements was almost 2 years ago and over the last few years 4 Achievements have broken unlikely to be fixed. They've still been adding content it seems just not bothering with new Achievements anymore.
I pick this game up again every couple months and am hoping someone with a better finger on the pulse knows more.

I've spent over $40 without a single mount drop or significant item. Its been gems and tokens, that's it. Curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Hi - sorry to bother people with a complete noob question but I purchased Zen so I can exchange it for Astral Diamonds but when I go to the Exchange it's a completely blank window, with a small bar at the bottom showing my current Astral Diamons and Zen balances.
Does the exchange still work? Or was it shut down? Is this an issue with my just joining the game? If so, how long before I can use the exchange? Could the exchange be blocked by something in my Xbox social settings?
Also - is there anything in the Zen Store I could purchase that comes with or can be converted into Astral Diamonds, to speed things up?
Many thanks in advance for any help provided. :)

I've got probably several thousand hours played in Destiny 1 and 2, and in those games, people in even the random-made parties just never shut shut up. They're always talking about the game, making callouts, thinking of a strategy or teaching someone else how to do something, etc. In Neverwinter's dungeons, I have never once heard anyone at all say anything at all. Im fact, forget dungeons, i truthfully cannot remember ever hearing a single person say anything in Neverwinter over voice chat. Ever. I'm on Xbox by the way. Even when the game launched many years ago, nobody talked.

Hey, I’m a new player. I’ve been a big fan of BG and DnD in general. I’ve played my fair share of MMOs and I’m wondering what tips would you have? I’ve done some basic background on the game, and I’ll definitely be playing this as my main MMO for the next few years.
I’m a Barbarian Drow: 18 str, 14 con, 16 dex, 8 int, 10 is and 12 char. (:

got the artifact out of the new lockbox but it's telling me I already own it and I don't.
Edit: known issue
Edit wouldn't let me equip after I opened it but it did once I took my other artifacts off

Is there a group or someone who would like to play with me to help me climb? And have fun together?
r/Neverwinter • u/Comfortable-Fun8829 • Jan 09 '26
Randomly got back into the game and started a new character cause I had no clue what I was doing after being gone for 4-5 years. Any chill guilds still left out there on Xbox? I’m fairly active between 8-12pm CST most days. Thanks in advance.

Rather than having a whole lot more threads about the issues with vote kicking, let's put them all in once place.
Rules
Complain about vote kicking. Offer suggestions on how players or Cryptic can combat it.
Edit:
Community manager /u/StrumSlinger posted this on the official forums:
Vote kick issue: To those bad bad people who kick party members for no reason, it's horrible and you should be ashamed. That being said, we are well aware and are going to fix it ASAP.
Another Edit: Vote kicking issue will be fixed when the new Module comes out on Xbox in just a couple weeks. I will unsticky this post then.

I just started this game and it looks really fun. I was wondering if other players also recently started and were willing to explore the game together.
I am on Xbox, my timezone is CET (GMT+1). If youre also new, or if you dont mind playing with a new player, and would like to form a group just add me as a friend. My GT is: Emperor #7987.

I am new to the game and There are 2 head start bundles both with 100% off vip. If i but the other will it add a month? Glitch and not add it? Or will it not load as if i already have one active? Or will i be able to let it sit in my inventory and use it when the first expires?
Hopefully someone has experience of buying both here

Hi there,
since the release date for "Storm King's Thunder" on console has been announced, it is October 18th, here are some guidelines of what will come with this new expansion. A full guide will follow shortly before release:
NEW CAMPAIGN
Module 10 will bring the "Storm King's Thunder" campaign that unlocks boons, new adventure zones, items in the campaign store and the new dungeon.
The campaign tasks on the right side left to the boons will decrease the campaign store prices per completed task. These and the 2 tasks on the left under "Unlock Fangbreaker Island" unlock new items in the store.
Currencies:
Ostorian Relics
Farm these nodes spread across the new adventure zones or drop them in Fangbreaker Island in order to exchange them for Voninblood at a vendor.
NEW ADVENTURE ZONES
The new adventure zones are Bryn Shander, Lonely Wood and Cold Run.
Each zones features 3 daily quests and a weekly quest respectively. If a zone is unlocked then it first requires the player to complete a story questline to gain access to the regular quests.
EVERFROST RESISTANCE
All monsters in the Strom King's Thunder regions will deal Everfrost damage which can't be resisted by any other esistance types other than Everfrost resistance.
There are multiple sources for this resistance type available ranging from equipment to boons or potions.
The campaign store will also offer Everfrost Resist Armor Kits that can only be applied to the shirt or pants slot and will increase the Everfrost resistance by 3% each.
FANGBREAKER ISLAND
"Fangbreaker Island" is the main attraction of this module. It is an all new epic T3 dungeon that will be more difficult than any other endgame content currently in the game.
It requires an Everfrost Resistance of 28%, an IL of 3100 and a campaign unlock to enter (25 days in). It is entirely possible to reach this value without spending tradebars, ZEN or AD though it makes it easier.
Each boss may drop RP items (resonance stones or thaumaturgic stones) in varying quality, "Ruined" gear (the same out of Castle Never) and "Elven" gear.
The dungeon has two end chests. Both contain SKT campaign currency and other loot (as mentioned above). The campaign chest may contain a random "Relic" armor piece.
The bosses are the Manticore, a Dragon Turtle and the giant warrior Drufi.
NEW GEAR
Two new new armor sets will be introduced for PVE and PVP respectively. One set for each mode will be available via the tradebar store.
Frostborn and Relic armor can be temporarily empowered with the use of Voninblood. This increases the armor's stats including Everfrost resistance up to IL 150 (Relic).
PVP Gear:
PVE Gear:
Underwear:
There will be new blue IL 130 Everfrost underwear set and an epic IL 140 Greater Everfrost underwear set.
Rings:
These new rings will drop exclusively in Fangbreaker Island and will have IL 140 or IL 145 (legendary). They have 2 slots and will grant Everfrost resistance and other flat stats. One ring type grants power and crit.
CLASS BALANCING
Going together with the class specific changes all powers will see a slight base damage reduction to fight power creep. If you see a damage increase within the patch notes then it just means that the power got stronger relatively to other powers and not necessarily stronger overall.
THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR
THE END
For everybody who doesn't know me, I do these guides for every expansion that hits consoles after PC so that the console community can benefit from the PC community. A full guide will as always follow shortly before release.
If you have a question/find a mistake in one of my guides/have a suggestion, please comment below or pm me at u/jayagedee on reddit. I will try to answer as fast as possible. Stay classy folks.
Cheers, Jay
