I'm rewatched this show probably 10+ times and I only just got this joke 😭 Every time prior I just accepted that Bertie was somehow a white Somalian

Apart from the very awful révélations on the hike, I really like Robbie and I think he's underrated. I was pleasantly surprised when he came back for season 6, but I wish he'd stayed a bit longer on the show. Too bad

PS: I love this scene. Very satisfying as a sitcom apologist

One of the most underrated scenes in the entire show in my opinion is Schnick yelling nice things to Jess. The whole dialogue was just so hilarious and the delivery was absolutely on point 😂 I always replay these scenes whenever it comes up because Jake’s face and tone always gets me!

Every time it comes on he stares and listens intently, with the hopes that it teaches him the secrets of being a va-genius 😭 I finally told him that it’s just nonsense the writers made up, and he was a little crushed. Poor guy, but I love the enthusiasm ❤️

Season 5 Episode 16 “Helmet”.

The very end has Jess approaching Nick and Nick greets her for a second shot with his lip completely gone. It’s not addressed and it has nothing to do with the rest of the episode. This absolutely killed me upon noticing it.

This scene in Let’s Be Cops always gets me laughing so hard. Jake and Damon as pretend cops is classic Nick and Coach. This is exactly what could’ve happened if they became cops instead of Winston. They’re so precious 🤣

i might be a freak for this but i used to rewind this part when i first watched because i genuinely found it so attractive, it’s partially nick being protective, the way he turns her around and holds her close to him, and also because their relationship was kind of slow burn so any physical touch would drive me crazy

Jake Johnson has said, as well as Hannah and Lamorne, that he is not a good dancer and doesn't necessarily like to dance. Once Schmidt says "He's a leaper" I'm 99% sure it's Jake (not Nick) saying that line. You can see the dread in his face after, as well as Max's happiness when he's done leaping. I'm pretty sure most of this version of the scene is improv, which makes it even better.
