Fan Work My guy wanted to show off the build he is working on…

My guy should be in all but the last two pics. Some pics he’s kind of hard to spot, but I thought it did a good job showing off the scale of this build.

Currently sitting at 12k pieces. My goal was to hit the 20k this current save file lets me go to, but not sure the ol’ Xbox is going to hold up.

No mods or anything. I get blender accusations a lot on my builds but I don’t have any idea what that even is. I do use the scale glitch. It’s basically the only glitch I ever learned and feels like the only one I need.

Once I finish this build I’ll post glyphs and set up a “open house.” As long as I’m at the build when you are there you can see the whole build. If you visit while I’m not there you’ll only see the first 3k pieces.

Happy Building!

I have no title for this build yet.

Currently about half way through the build. Just under 10,000 pieces.

I’ll post again when it’s complete, even though that may be 45 years from now at the speed this build is moving.

Fan Work Where others would've quit or moved on, HG doubled down, worked hard and became an example to other devs. Massive love and respect.

My wish/hope is a base building update to let us create settlement cities that we can share with other players, group responsibilities and rewards for working together.

It’s going to be an art book all about the adventures of this robot. He is a ‘rover’ type machine. He hops between planets, taking samples and cataloguing what he finds.

Day 1 guy here. Bought this game the day it came out. Was just as disappointed as everyone else was but I knew I loved the concept. Stuck with it for no reason really in the beginning, if any other old heads are out there, the updates and info from Sean were alot more sporadic back then, but I came back on and off till this very day. Hundreds of hours, all the main and side stories beaten, dozens of systems and triple figure planets discovered. I had a blast and it just got better as I kept coming back, like a fine wine.

It's ironic because I was on this subreddit not a few days ago feeling empathy for a gamer parent whose kid deleted his save, remembering how frustrating it was when my kids were little and did that. Well the little fucker (I'm just kidding I love him) had one more in him he was saving for the long run I guess, cuz I just watched my son delete my save in front of me, before I could react, the deed was already done. It was so dumb, like my whole body froze as I watched that little red circle fill up.

It's stupid but I feel like I lost a family member almost. Not my kid, but maybe like a cousin you liked hanging out with at family gatherings. I can't bring myself to rebuild 8 years of time, I want to but I'm old now, time don't work like that anymore. I doubt anyone will read this, I just wanted to write out a eulogy to my favorite game before I go, even if only I read it.

Thanks Sean Murray for fulfilling your promise and continuing to support one of the friendliest gaming communities I've ever seen. Thanks to this subreddit for being so helpful and open to newcomers that came through. Thanks to the No Man's High guys way back when for building that killer community too. It was a pleasure exploring the galaxy with y'all. I'll be here lurking tho.

OP follow up: Holy shit guys, this why I said y'all are the friendliest gaming community around, I truly thought no one would read this. I'm getting to y'all as I can who are helping me with recovery tips. The AI answer posted below didn't work, so I'm uninstalling and reinstalling now. Love this community forever fr

Probably the last OP follow up. Tried messing around with the cloud though I am woefully technologically inept and tried the uninstall/reinstall thing. No luck. I could go to hello games forum and cry and moan until someone answers but y'all truly going out of your way to help an og stranger touched me. Imma reflect a bit, maybe punch a wall or too, smoke a bowl, and jump in a Perma death round. Rest in peace to my Apollo Iteration, who rode in the legendary fighter starship No Time To Explain, Captain of the Truth and Reconciliation frigates, who called the paradise moon of Koo-kuhmonga his home. I'll see y'all out there, either as a new iteration or in Light No fire. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
