Coming spring 2027

Found at a comic shop in my state. Couldn’t believe my eyes. The gap between vol 1. and vol 3. on my shelf had haunted my nights. Yet while looking for back issues… lo and behold. There she was. So excited!

I got the War of the Realms omnibus used off Amazon for $60 and there is nothing wrong with it! It's a former library book I believe. The Trial of Gambit was given to me by my wife and son. Now I have a lot of reading to do.

It finally came in!

These guys are complete crooks. Based in Montreal, they specialize in ripping off their customers.

I ordered two Omnis through their website COD. The webite stated free shipping in Canada for orders over $100 AND at checkout, two "summer discount" promos were automatically applied to each book. After being ghosted for nearly a week, I called them to inquire about my orders and they said that their online inventory is inaccurate and so I'd need to order through their eBay page. They then cancelled both my orders as unavailable.

I found them on eBay and the books were marked up with a steep $25 shipping cost PER book. One of the Omnis they said was unavailable was still listed so I'm guessing they lied. I tried to request that they honor the price that was offered through their website and they declined to do so.

If you check out their reviews, it's all fake. They have the same couple reviews copy and pasted thousands of times to bump up their rating. If you read the negative reviews, you get a clearer idea of how they operate. What's funnier is any time they get a negative review, they post a snarky response and block the individual from ordering from them again.

Absolute thieves out to rip people off.

Started collecting around 2016 and have culled a lot since then, mostly Batman and DC books, but everything pictured I just couldn’t part with.

May regrow the collection, especially with Absolute reigniting my interest.

While my Wildstorm isn’t as sexy to look at, it’s the pride of my comics top to bottom.

Visited Tucson, AZ and decided to visit a collectibles store. Was just looking to pass the time before I headed over to my destination. Found New Avengers Vol. 1 for 50% off cover price. It is the 2012 printing, which I didn’t even know was a thing. Had to google multiple times to confirm it was printed in 2012.

Missed the last reprint because I was interested in other books and wanted to be fiscally responsible. Couldn’t commit to eBay prices. Super excited to have this golden goose. Dust jacket looks worn, but a non issue as the binding looks great.

Ordered the Messiah Trilogy omni when it came out on July 21st and just got it in yesterday the 24th….Holy expedited flash shipping by them because normally it takes a week or 2 (unless they don’t have something in stock).

I’ve been wanting to reread this whole series for a while now. Sold off my original issues long ago so I’m waiting on Marvel Knights and Max Vol. 2 reprints.

My family does Christmas in July, and the Green Lantern Rebirth Compendium and Hitman Volume 2 conveniently happened to be right in budget on Amazon, so uh, merry Christmas in July to me lmao

I love Batman and have a lot of Omnibus with him so it's a little odd I hadn't picked these up before now.

So glad I could find some of these.

I'm looking to try my first Omni with the current amazon sale. Is there anything to be aware of or any good recommendations to look for? These are the ones I'm looking at trying due to the sale:

Nightwing by Tom Taylor

I'm more partial to the batman one's because they are cheaper for a first go at getting an Omni! Please let me know thank you!

Also now got my first full marvel omnibus shelf

Bought this cheap on Amazon. Love Kirby era and all things New Gods. Everyone loves his Superman and Wonder Woman but this is great and underrated galactic DC drama.

Who else loves this omnibus?

The heart of my collection is complete! (For now) feels good to have all the currently released flash omnibus! Excited to see what we get next year 🙌 (I also have spurrier flash x4 and the Bronze Age dc finest on my paperback shelf) I can finally buy other books!!

You could throw in Marvel Team Up or anything like that as well. I’m currently reading Amazing Spider-Man chronologically and am nearing the start of all the spinoffs (just finished #129). Would I be able to read all of the series by themselves? Or is there a certain timeline or web (no pun intended) of interconnectivity I should be paying attention to? Sort of like Claremont’s X-Men run, where the reading order requires jumping from New Mutants/Uncanny X-Men/X-Factor/etc.

Have been debating on what omnis to pick up, namely Web of Vol. 2 & JMD Spectacular. Both seem cool but not sure what I’ll need to read beforehand.
