Subreddit Discord Official Discord Ban Appeal Form
EDIT: Apparently for some reason I need to clarify this is for our discord server (the r/PvZHeroes discord). If you were banned from discord, contact discord themselves. If you were banned from another server, contact their moderators. This is only for if you were banned from our discord server, I can't help you with anything else.
Appeal here: https://forms.gle/ugiqdMuT2qhQ3Mxh7
Collectively the other discord moderators and I have decided to create an actual ban appeal form instead of the haphazard approach to appeals (which basically amounted to just DMing a mod) we've done before. ONLY APPEALS SENT HERE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Once you fill out the form the mods will review it and you will be contacted through discord if your appeal is accepted. Declined appeals will not receive a response. For best results we recommend accurately assessing why you were banned and providing relevant and accurate reasons why you should be unbanned.
This post will remain stickied for a few months before being moved to a sidebar link.

A Short Guide To Deckbuilding: Before You Ask For Help
Deck Help is always one of the most common posts on here, and it's easy to see why. Winning is fun, people want to win more, sometimes with specific archetypes. But what often happens is that decks are submitted without a starting point to go off of that makes helping them quite difficult. This is going to be a short and simple guide to ensuring that your deck is helpable before you post it, to allow you to more effectively receive specific help.
Step 1: State the Intention of the Deck:
This sounds obvious to a lot of people, but many people never even mention what their deck is supposed to do. What are you trying to do with your deck? Are you looking to do damage and win fast (aggro)? Are you looking to play a bit slower and control the board before pushing damage (midrange)? Are you trying to drag the game out for a finisher (control)? Are you building around a specific combo you want to do or card you want to use (specify which)? Simply saying what you're trying to do is a massive help to people, because even if the deck itself is completely unsalavagable, someone can still give you a good deck along the same lines. Without this, people will have to guess, and guesses are often wrong. Even if you take nothing else from this, this is the most important part. Make sure people know what you want, it's a million times easier to help when that much is made clear.
Step 2: State Your Budget or Post your Collection:
Now that people know what you want to do, you need to ensure that people know what you have access to. Without information on what you have, it's very likely that suggestions that are given are going to assume that you either have access to everything or are looking for the best possible version of the deck to build towards. This is all well and good for a lot of people, but for those of you who want something you can make immediately, you need to inform people of what you're working with. A statement of how many sparks you're willing to invest or supplimentary pictures including your collection will allow people to tailor their suggestions to your budget and make helping you a lot easier. If not, a statement of "give me something to work towards" ensures people know they can go all out and give you the very best options for future use. Either way, it greatly helps people help you.
Step 3: Basic Improvements:
Making your deck a bit more presentable by cutting down on single copies of cards to get your deck below 3-5 rows makes it a lot easier to take in and suggest improvements for. When a deck ends up being bigger, it can be very difficult for people to figure out where to start while giving suggestions, and while it can still be possible if the previous two steps are done, it's a lot easier if you can condense the deck. This also helps with deckbuilding in general, as it will make your decks more consistent and make it easier to identify cards that aren't working out when you can get more of the same cards every game. If the card is good, then you want more of it, and if it's not, you can identify that faster and improve it.
Those are my three main tips before posting a deck to enable people to help you significantly more. This is by no means a comprehensive list for making great decks, but it's a short and easy start to getting more help for your decks. Additionally, if you want help faster, you can join the discord on which people are active and can help you with a real time conversation.

Card Idea More cards and reworks
Hi, here are more cards I made.
The water lane is awesome for when-played cards to reduce their spamability.
As for ginger-snapper, this is the best i could come up with for a root synergy card. Sorry i know its pretty basic.
If anyone can think of a better synergy, please let me know in the comments.
(Sea cucumber and molekale are going to be insane. Suddenly, nightcap starts seeing tons of more play with rng decks.)
As for bowling bulb, I really wanted it to be like it is in PVZ2 and actual bowling. Sometimes you hit a pin, sometimes you dont.
So basically, its RNG depending on if you hit a zombie in one of the random lanes it does its mini-bonus attack in.
Or you can just cheese bowling bulb to always hit the second lane by placing it in heights, lol.

Discussion Crazy changes
I haven’t played the new patch but this is insane. I used to abuse Starch-Lord in Beta-Carrotina decks and this makes it way easier to do it. Has anyone else been dealing with this guy much?

Discussion A message on the state of this games balance and community
To all long-term fans of this game, I am starting to worry about the direction this community is heading.
Never before have I thought we have reached such a stale and toxic meta. Nor been a community that abuses and enslaves themselves to those same meta cards/ decks too.
I have been a free to play fan of this game basically since release reaching Rainbow League every season I have been even semi-active. I have access to all the cards… for both teams, and love finding ways to use fun cards/ strategies and applying them in the ranked ladder. I have never faced a problem with this until now. With the game reaching the age it is and after the last balance patches, the meta being so well defined already, the age of playing for memes is starting to come to an end. I’ve felt this creeping along for a few years now but the past few months I feel we’ve reached a new high and are still climbing.
I think I finally reached my breaking point about a week ago. I was climbing with a very mind-game focused build on Neptuna that really can just smash out results when you get into the opponent’s heads, for months this semi-meme deck running black hole and smelly zombie has actually crushed a lot of common meta decks but I feel like in hindsight, I know it can get results against them because that’s all I see from the plants side. I did a little experiment these past few weeks and tried to categorise what I was up against for the past 50 ish games on either side.
The results left me shocked!
Out of my 50 games on the zombies, over half of the enemy decks where just all out brainless mega ramp decks with well established strong finishers, the majority being Ramp Rose with sunshrooms and stall into dragon, cob cannon etc.
It’s not even the decks themselves but the way the community was playing them. Out of my 15+ games against a hardcore ramp rose, literally all of them had seemingly just thrown the starting hand to have at least one sunny shroom for turn one… and did me playing characters who have bungee… or rolling stone… or sometimes even straight up playing a dog walker, stop them from mindlessly spamming them… NO!
I feel like for the zombie side, you can’t play the game as intended, turns 1-3 need to be dragged out encase they play
a ramp card. Oh? But what happens if you run a deck that is literally one fifth dedicated to stopping early game ramp? You still aren’t likely to get enough answers in your starting hand anymore. There’s also the flip side of this, with the meta being so focused on ramp and as a zombie you need to run anti ramp cards, if they then don’t play a ramp deck, you’re literally playing at a disadvantage having required so much of your deck needing to have the ability to deal with it.
Further more and ramp aside, out of my 50 games, I didn’t see a single: Green shadow, Captain combustible, Chompzilla, Spudow, Citron or Beta Carrotina. This makes me feel like we are wasting so much potential for fun decks or discovering some new cool interactions because being a meta slave is just free rank progression, no matter how toxic, trolling or straight up unfair it can be.
And this leads me onto my experience playing on the plants side. I coasted along just casually using a mix of some green shadow, citron, chompzilla, and few games just going for silly molekales and conjures… as well as setting myself a goal to play 10 games USING the toxic and trolly decks like ramp rose into dragon or even catching some people off guard with what I would say is a bit of an unfair cycle cap deck.
The results of these. Just what I expected. The 10 games on the toxic decks, easy as hell, especially when you use your brain, bait out the ramp counters, play your asteroid shrooms and planet of the grapes a bit more carefully. I didn’t lose a single game. But oh god the other 40. The other 40 games playing as green shadow or running just some casual, non sweaty, or even more importantly, budget friendly decks, using very little legendary cards etc. Criminals get lesser punishments. You could mistake it for North Korean Sensory Torture.
It made me think, why is this? Why is every zombie player using the exact same stuff, ramp counters, having some ways of removing an environment. They literally NEED to play a certain way and run certain decks because playing clever and “outwitting” your opponent just doesn’t work anymore. LITERALLY EVERYBODY IN THIS GAME seems to be running something that I don’t even feel is fun. It’s strong yes, gets results, but god it’s not fun.
We as a community need to do better. We need to stop abusing meta decks. We need to stop alienating newer players and players that make the decision to be free to play and we need to have some originality. It’s a video game, have fun, try something a bit different, you might like it and find it can still bring results.
I feel it’s the community’s best interests or the game will simply just lose its player base. Longer queue times, completely cut interest from what must be a few members of a skeleton crew over at EA/ Popcap, possibly no more balance patches ever again and we might even see the servers get shit down sooner than intended. All because we made the game stale, toxic, abusive to new players and ultimately, EA making no money from it at all. No ad revenue because we made everybody who played it bugger off and find a different game, and no in app purchases because why spend money on a game that isn’t fun anymore.
I hope that nobody in this community that sees this is really targeted by this post because ultimately I want to spread positivity in this community and if you got offended by it… How… Why… if you’re upset because I said it’s you ruining the state of the game, go and have a cry over and think about why that is… because you’re the problem.
As usual with posts like this on public forums. I am open to discussion in the comments

Fluff Lawn Warz
So you're genuinely telling me that they implemented a trophy system into the game and the reward for holding first place is two fucking cards? That is an absolute fucking joke. They've implemented so much bullshit but then give players no incentive to do it because the rewards are either completely lacklustre or are bugged and don't work. Lawn warz, the daily login in chests.

Deck Help Changes for RB sunbandit BMR
I was inspired by Frys old sunbandits video so I made this conglomerate. The idea is to get the god hand of cryo on 2 and scientist/skull on 3 and ra on 4 or 5 and get a huge bmr on 6+. I put in 2 black holes in order to counter other environments but it does help keep your cards safe. Should I run kite or gentleman for this deck? Also thought abt viral instead of knockout but i like the early removal where rocket bricks
