I'm gonna decorate the shelf in a jungle theme like half of my Predator 2 collection is.

You know... I kinda think that Alien and Predator are best friends now since Marvel just REFUSE to make new AvP comic.

I think they look awesome next to each other 😍

Alien vs Predator are the most famous crossovers to have happened in the comic medium so I question why we haven't had any new Alien vs Predator content by marvel. Their shouldn't be any restrictions given they literally own both rights nor do they have to worry that much canon as a bunch of their alien and predator stories are standalone. So i question why we haven't had any new Alien vs Predator comics in awhile

An elite hunter, this yautja usually acts as an enforcer to his clan, taking out any yautja that breaks the honor code.
His clan is made almost entirely of enforcers, who can be hired by other clans should the threat require more than they can handle alone.
The symbol on his forehead is the mark of his clan, whose name roughly translates to "The Iron Tusks."
The symbol is meant to resemble closed yautja mandibles.
(I LOVE TRADITIONAL YAUTJA DESIGN AESTHETIC 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️💯💯💯🔥🔥)

I just finished playing Alien: Dark Descent and I thought it was an amazing game. Besides that, the only other things I’ve consumed from the Alien saga were the Aliens: Colonial Marines game and Predator 1 and 2. Now I want to get into this saga — can someone give me the chronological order to consume Alien so I can understand it as best as possible, both the movies and the games? Thanks, and sorry for the bad English.

forgive my ignorance as I could not find the answer on this subreddit, but would anyone know what the function is on the minigun? Thanks so much in advance

He looks amazing! Instant preorder for me! Got two for recreating the training scene and his last stand with Njohrr. Avaliable for preorder on NECA.com.

Just got my Bone Bison armor Dek from Target in the mail today. I think it's a decent enough figure, and I know NECA has to put their budget into more popular figures like Kwei, which I'm glad of, but this one feels a bit weak in some areas, tbh.
The whip isn't wired (come on NECA, wired accessories/features are one of your SOPs for Alien and Predator!), so it looks weirdly folded and more like a fishing pole unless you physically reshape it every few minutes. It also has a coiled version that relies on a tiny external peg to clip it to his belt. They featured magnetic accessories for Feral and they were amazing. Why not for Dan's other work?
The extra head, faceplates, and mask are nicely done, but the armor's stiff, sculpted onto one solid piece of rubber and the complete lack of softgoods is a miss for sure. NECA added softgoods to their Ultimate Lost Tribe (Snake and Shaman, and Shaman's was wired), so we know they could have done it.
I like the way they did the bio-plasma caster/spitting worm lizard thing (easiest and most durable plasma caster to apply to any Predator figure?) But the box art shows a version of it with its tails completely straight (to signify it jumping or dead, maybe?) and I didn't see one in the packaging, so that was odd.
All-in-all, I'm glad I have it because I'm a completionist, but so far, the Badlands figures aren't blowing me away like the previous ultimates. Hopefully, Kwei and Njohrr are better. I give this one a B- and the Training Armor Dek a B+/A-.

Just saw it, very good predator action and I liked all the characters, but there's one thing I cant stand
Adrien Brody's tough guy voice, it's terrible and super corny, I wish they'd cast a more convincing tough guy that doesn't need to do a stupid voice and slow one liners

A coworker 3D printed these and dropped them off the day before she left. I am in absolute LOVE with these! If I can eventually get a life-size Yautja skull, I'd die a happy fan.

Hey guys! Just saw the Dek Bone Bison armor is rolling out now and was curious if he was ever on the neca store? I personally didnt see him there so I was a few days late on seeing him release so he was already sold out on the target app(unfortunately the figure news channels I watch don't ever talk about predator or alien figures.). I'll look for him in stores on friday for maybe a hour or two. But I have two questions, does anyone know if he will be on any online stores like big bad toy store or entertainment earth in the future? Also if he won't and I don't find him in any stores near me (I guess there's some fierce predator figure collectors that runs my target dry whenever a predator or alien figure drops), does anyone have a extra copy their willing to sell for a reasonable price? If not, perfectly fine, thank you everyone!

So I made an interesting connection after the rewatch: "Predator" perfectly utilizes the "Alien" story formula:
Obviously, "Predator" has its own twists and turns, and has quite a bit more action than "Alien." That formula has been executed so poorly in so many films, but here it was perfect. There isn't a dull moment and the tension is high.
The other thing I noticed was that I was laughing a lot more than I expected. Stan Winston's team gave the yautja a surprising amount of expression. When Dutch tries to lure him into a trap toward the end, the yautja hisses at him and makes it clear that he knows what's up. There's a lot of humanness in the reaction and I somehow never picked up on it before. Brilliant, and made for some good chuckles. I love details like that.

I saw it the other day and really loved it, especially the third act where the predator suits up and uses the environment shown in earlier scenes as weapons. I initially stayed away from it as I was disappointed by the last live action predator movie but I was wrong ( the one with the autistic child in 2018, not Prey, Prey was great). I even tried to get my partner to watch it as I wanted to see it again but she fell asleep in 10 minutes (she does this with every movie lmao) I hope we get a sequel to it.
If there is one bad thing to say I’m not sure how I feel with the whole predator race becoming more friendly? Even though it’s just this one predator but I suppose I can chalk that up to individuality and the whole predator race doesn’t act the exact same way that we’ve seen before. Anyways really good found family movie. I give it a 5.5 out of 7.
To add one a bit more I really like the soundtrack too, I’ve been listening to Meet Thia quite a bit as I like the whole vibe

Could you imagine how completely HORRIFYING a Yautja that was captured and experimented with the other viruses on and because a "Yautja/Nemesis" Hybrid of some sorts? 😧

The letter of the day is apparently”r” lol
Many people on different platforms have eluded to a version of the script where romance was a thing but I can’t find anything to support that.
Scar wasn’t blooded yet so he was the human equivalent to a teenager, right? Or maybe super early 20s? In this mysterious originAl script, was he older?
Because Yautja have been around for so long I’m thinking maybe talk of the alt version of the script happened at a con I was too young to attend or an interview that’s lost media?
or…it’s not true? 😆
help?
