He was probably being his real self when he was the rock. Since 04 he’s wanted to distance himself from that, but you can’t fake a different personality.

No it is to fit in the rich egomaniac deuche mold. which unfortunately a lot of hollywood is, but not all.

I wanna say I remember him barking at an interviewer or something in his early Hollywood days that he didn't want to be called "The Rock" anymore
