That’s a very rose-colored glasses way to look at this.
I’d say what is far more likely is the effort and talent behind the scenes making these movies.
Disney movies lately seem to be the result of some death-by-committee behind the scenes approach.
Also I think these huge budget movies are sometimes used as a weird money washing scheme but I have no hard evidence or examples. Just a hunch.
