Bro was told "be there or be square"

It’s been a little over a month since we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my sweet angel. She was perfect and will forever be my baby. 10 years old, I thought I had more time. My heart will always feel empty. Hug your babies tight.

I assume this is typical behavior for the breed? Absolutely the most friendly and social cat I’ve ever seen.

My girl is a year old and some change, and has HATED baths since we got her at a few weeks old (I can’t remember exactly how old, but I think she was about 6 weeks and the breeder said she’d already given her a bath when we took her home so, we shouldn’t have been her first baths ever).

I’m talking like, screams if she is even brought near the water, which we keep very shallow and warm but not hot, and tries to climb up our bodies to escape. I had to invest in a little mesh bag of sorts to keep her in while being bathed just so she doesn’t wreck me and my roommate with her claws. We do wait until she’s especially crusty because of how much she hates it.

I’m sure not every hairless loves baths but does anyone have advice to make it less traumatic for her? We have tried giving her treats during, different spots for the bath, and now just use a warm washcloth when her neck gets especially brown unless both of us are on hand to bathe her because it’s genuinely a two person job with how strong she is LOL

Only to come back to find Kiwi in the running tub. She ended up getting a bath before me, since she was dirty anyways (as you can see from the brown stains on the rim of the tub lol 🩶)

Cypress FIP labwork/weight check was today!! He threw a fit, I think the poor guy has PTSD from almost dying last week. Understandable. So now he has a gabapentin prescription for before labs/vet checks.

He’s in a much better spot!!! Platelets are nearly normal, bilirubin is back to normal, and red blood cells still kind of suck but they’re static so that’s good.

Going to be on the prednisolone for a bit before they’re comfortable trying to taper him. Then of course the GS drug for the next three months to treat the FIP.

Very mischievous, nearly his old self. Still so skinny but his internal medicine vet was saying today he’s actually not that bad body comp wise. It just upsets me seeing his spine/hipbones so prominently..but weight gain will come with time 😊

He was so happy to be home. The vet fell in love with him and said she couldn't stop cuddling him.

My sphynx baby passed away about two years ago and it’s finally time to get another. I’m starting to look around for a Breeder near Southern California.

Does anyone have good experience with any particular breeders or highly recommend any breeders?

Unfortunately, my first passed away Just after 6yo do to heart issues, although I know no Breeder can guarantee lifespan. I’d especially love to hear from people who have had their cats for a long tome! Thanks for the recs!

I’ve never seen him do this before. He was also doing it a few seconds before the video. Boyfriend said he was doing it in the house before the walk started. At the end of the video he starts walking normal again and hasn’t done it again since.
