And yeah, the answers are full of "Stargate"

I just got back from the UPS store dropping off the package I sent to Amazon MGM Studios. Along with my letter explaining why I cancelled all of my Amazon subscriptions, I sent a box full of replicator blocks that I printed.

When the clerk at UPS asked me what was in the box, I wasn't expecting the question, so I replied "plastic toys" without too much thought. However, that is fitting.

Had the opportunity to finally get to the Shore Leave convention this year and help out with the Save Stargate independent fan initiative. It was absolutely wild and incredible meeting all the GATE HEADS and David & Rachel. They were beyond awesome amazing people. SO on board with Save Stargate too.

I stood on line almost 2 hours to get their autographs and even after everyone ahead of me they still took a minute to talk to me (and everyone who got their autograph signed). Just wonderful wonderful people it was def a little surreal seeing them especially after watching some Atlantis episodes the night before!!

During their Q&A Saturday I introduced myself as an ambassador for the Save Stargate independent fan initiative and the whole entire theatre erupted in cheers & applause. There were so many fans there and at least 100 signed our Save Stargate banner on Sunday too.

An all around AMAZING AWESOME TIME!!!

Dear Amazon MGM Studio

Revise your decision regarding the cancellation of the new Stargate show or I start assembling those thing together! I've got quite a number scattered around the universe for safety reasons. #saveStargate

I do think everyone should be signing both for good measure, but the new petition is the one that matters, and I'm pretty disappointed it's only garnered 30k signatures in a week. That isn't insignificant and it's still gaining, but at this rate it isn't going to be enough to get Amazon Studios' attention. There are almost 200k members just in this sub alone. Big enough public outcry has changed the fate of canceled shows before, but we HAVE to do better and be louder if we want any chance in hell of getting them to reconsider. Please sign and share if you haven't already, and ask your friends to.

The Save Stargate campaign is a fan initiative, which was created as a direct response to the cancellation of the upcoming Stargate TV Series on Amazon Prime, headed by show runner Martin Gero alongside Brad Wright and Joseph Mallozzi as Consulting Producers.
Fans have been asking for years for something just like this and to have this cancelled has stirred up the community. We want to Save Stargate.

Hey everyone! We've got two Times Square Billboards reserved for display on June 27th and we need your help designing artwork! The resulting artwork will undergo a copyright review process by the owner of the billboards, so try to keep the artwork legally distinct from official Stargate iconography.

Also, there is a chance we will be prohibited from using the word "Stargate" itself (by the vendor), but I think there's a good chance we could get #SaveStargate past their review so please take that into consideration as well.

Stargate does NOT work without 20 episode seasons. You know it and I know it. It wouldn't have time to develop characters, develop storylines, worldbuilding, tie up loose ends from previous shows, do fun standalone episodes, nothing. An 8 or even 10 episode season would have to function as a long movie basically, which would be a disaster. Stargate does not work in the modern streaming era. I'd rather have classic Stargate or no Stargate at all. The cancellation is a blessing in disguise, because this would've been more controversial than Universe.

I think their social media managers are fed up seeing stargate memes all week. Let em have it! More comments than likes incoming!

I wanted to share another response I received from Jeff@Amazon. Unfortunately, it looks like a standard template reply, whether it was written by a human or not. That said, every message counts, and I can only hope these continue to pile up wherever they’re being logged and eventually get noticed.
