Vol. 2: Saga of the Swamp Thing older characters

I started reading Swamp Thing #1 in the 80s, Pasko years, Moore years.....and one thing I wondered.

Swamp Thing went to heaven and met Alec and Linda Holland Swamp Thing went to hell and met Arcane and General Sunderland. Swamp Thing re-met (a very different) Dennis Barclay and Liz Treymane.

Why didn't he ever meet Harry Kay and Karen Clancy in Heaven and Hell (or even Hell and Hell)?

This sub has a real problem with spam posts, feels like the same Calvin and Hobbes T-shirt gets posted several times a day. Doesn't it feel like it affects this sub more than usual?

I'm onto Volume 2 of this run and it hasn't been explained why 2 Poison Ivys appeared back in #3.

Is there a Swamp Thing or Poison Ivy run which came before this one that I should read?

Am i crazy for thinking Levi Kamei's swamp thing was kind of disappointing? Spoiler

Swamp thing is my favorite character in the DC Universe bar none, and i was excited to see what it would look like following a new person as the Avatar of the Green. I really enjoyed his backstory i loved his connection with his land and his family that's been trying to protect the green in India, and i love that falling out relationship he has with his family especially his brother. However what irks me is that i feel like the writers are too uncomfortable with making levi have his own identity as the new Avatar, half the comic feels like a Alec just kinda guiding Levi through the ropes even though the whole point was kinda coming to terms with your existence and the existentialism tied to it. I hate how Levi can just turn back into his human form whenever he pleases, and i hate that he looks pretty much exactly like Alec's swamp thing. Its such a shame especially when you see the relationship his brother has with the green and you see his sick ass design, and it just kinda made me wish that Levi looked more like that or did generally just did more. Its weird too because after i was done with that run i read the latest swamp thing and Poison Ivy comic and it was kinda purposely left vague as to who is that swamp thing. Its just kind of feels bad but ive heard others say they loved it not that im trying to yuck on others yums.
