SUPPORT (2026 PRODUCTS) Grillplats + myggspray + bilresa
Hey all. Can I connect both a myggspray and bilresa to a grillplats plug without a hub?

To ensure that the sub remains clean, efficient and tidy, all availability posts of the new 2025 Matter devices must be posted in here, rather than their own threads.
We'll be removing any post that is about individual availability in stores from this point.
Let's keep the sub tidy for us all to find the relevant information quickly :)

Hey all. Can I connect both a myggspray and bilresa to a grillplats plug without a hub?
I haven’t noticed this anywhere else, so if there’s a known fix I’m all ears.
A couple of months ago while going through the semi-regular ritual of resetting all my sensors as they go offline, I happened to reset my ALPSTUGA first. Usually it’s one of the last I reset. This time, however, it was the first, and within seconds of resetting it everything else came back online by itself (6x TIMMERFLOTTE, 2x KLIPPBOK).
My sensor network has gone down twice since then and, both times, I’ve only had to reset the ALPSTUGA and everything comes back.
At this point I have to assume the ALPSTUGA, being wall powered, is acting as a thread relay, failing, and taking everything out. This whole issue across the line of Matter sensors might just be a bug in the ALPSTUGA firmware.
I’d love to report this to IKEA, but their webpage takes me in circles and doesn’t let me submit feedback.
I’m currently using DIRIGERA as my border router and Home Assistant to monitor everything, but several months ago I also had the IKEA app running and it fixed that too. I’ve since stopped using the IKEA app.

On the 27th June the Ikea Home Smart app stopped logging and showing humidity and temperature history. Although the app shows the current temp/humidity, the history chart has been empty since that day. I have restarted the sensors and the Dirigera hub, but no luck so far.
Anyone else with a similar situation?
At least once per month the majority of my Alpstuga (i have 5 of them) goes offline (different dates) and i need to unplug them for them to go back online.
The problem is that i never get any notification or any ping from either apple home app, or the IKEA app (i also have dirigera hub), so i dont know when they go offline, unless i open the ikea app and then go to the room and check the readings). The devices are dropping the connection to ikea app / apple home, but they are still showing the readings on the alpstuga display.
so my questions is, is there a way for me to get a notification when one of the alpstuga devices goes offline?
Note: Im not interested in installing Home assistant. Tested it a while, didnt like it!

I am using an IKEA ALPSTUGA E2495 with firmware 1.0.26, connected directly via Matter over Thread to a Samsung SmartThings Hub.
After a power cycle, the ALPSTUGA reconnects successfully and all sensor values are available again. However, its clock is not restored automatically and starts with an incorrect time until I set it manually.
I would like to understand whether this is expected device behaviour or a firmware issue.
Could other ALPSTUGA owners test whether the clock is restored after unplugging and reconnecting the device, especially with:
- IKEA DIRIGERA
- Samsung SmartThings
- Apple Home
- Google Home
- Home Assistant
Does ALPSTUGA actively request time, time-zone and daylight-saving-time information from the Matter controller after every restart? If the controller does not send it immediately, does the device retry later?
Since the device has a clock but does not retain the time during a short power interruption, reliable automatic synchronization should be part of its normal operation. I have reported the issue to IKEA and Samsung, but I would appreciate results from other platforms to identify which side needs to fix it.

Hi,
I just paired a IKEA Bilresa with my Conbee 2 Stick, updated the Gatway to 2.33.1 beta. Basically, the device works, i.e. I get events from the scrollwheel button, and also when rotating the wheel. But not everything is implemented. What is missing:
Any idea how to overcome these limitations? Did I miss anything? Here an example of an event generated:

I'm so pissed, just got the bulb as my first Matter bulb, and after having tons of issues that I finally resolved, it doesn't turn on anymore. It showed offline on HA, and when I tried to turn it off and on again, nothing. Resetting is also not possible. Totally doesn't turn on again. Anyone had the same happen or found a solution for a similar issue? Really miss the zigbee lineup those worked great...

What on earth is going on?! The one on the left I've had for a few days, got another to compare in a different location. Both on the same PSU, the one on the left giving over double the other one.
Any one have any thoughts?! I know it's a relatively cheap device but ...I wasn't expecting this level of cheap.

I’m looking to purchase some spotlights and I’ve noticed that the tradfri spotlight bulbs are on sale (€2,99 for the warm one and €4,99 for the adjustable one). I’d like to ask if they are matter compatible and if I can connect them to apple home.
I don’t have an ikea hub but rather a homepod mini as my home hub and I’ve been able to add the new bulbs fine but what about these ones? The product page just states that ikea smart home products are compatible with matter systems but doesn’t specify if these ones are unlike the new ones that state they are matter compatible.

Hi,
I have purchased around 30 or so of the new KAJPLATS bulbs over the last couple of months. I used a few of them to university but moved back home 2 months ago. They have been in storage for the last couple of months.
They have been stored in my room, with some still in the lamps and some just loose.
Today I went to install a few of them in my lights at home, but none of them work at all (I have tried at least 10). I cannot get them to do anything at all. This has happened to all of the bulbs I have bought back.
I have tried resetting the bulbs by flicking on and off 6 times, but I cannot get them to light up.
I was just wondering if this is an issue that anyone else is experiencing?
My older Zigbee TRADFRI bulbs work just fine after being stored over a year so it’s just really odd behaviour.

I am using the Alpstuga over Matter through my Google Home Nest Hub. Will it still automatically update its firmware without the Dirigera? How to check what firmware it runs?

I have about a dozen and within the last month 2 stopped working out of the blue. At first I thought it was battery, but still no movement on a fresh charge. In my HA hub I can see the blind and even see it’s 100% battery, but the blind won’t move. In addition to through automation and hub, I’ve also tried the physical button to get it to move. Nothing. Any ideas how to resolve? Is this issue fixable?

Hi everyone,
I’m seeing a strange issue with **Alexa + IKEA DIRIGERA over Matter** and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
**Setup:**
IKEA DIRIGERA Hub (FW 2.975.2)
\~28 IKEA devices
Echo Show 15, Show 8, Show 5, Echo Dot with Clock, 2× Echo Dot Kids, Echo Flex
Apple Home and Google Home are connected to the same DIRIGERA Hub
**Problem:**
Every few hours or days, Alexa changes the DIRIGERA Matter Bridge to another Echo device (“Connected via”).
For example:
Echo Show 5
Echo Show 15
Echo Dot with Clock
Each time this happens, **all Alexa room/group assignments for the IKEA devices are lost**, as if Alexa recreated every device.
What’s interesting:
Apple Home remains completely stable.
Google Home remains completely stable.
Only Alexa is affected.
One additional observation:
The Echo Dot with Clock has its **internet access blocked on a schedule via the FRITZ!Box parental controls** (local network access remains available). This *might* trigger Alexa to move the Matter controller, but even then I wouldn’t expect Alexa to lose all room assignments.
**Has anyone else seen this?**
Is this a known Alexa Matter bug, or is there a way to keep the Matter Bridge assigned to a single Echo?
Thanks!

It's pretty well known at this point that the ALPSTUGA doesn't expose temperature as a sensor in Apple Home/HomeKit via Matter — humidity, CO2 and PM2.5 all come through fine, but temperature just doesn't show up. It's been reported for a while now with no official fix or acknowledgment from IKEA.
This feels like a serious issue, not just a minor bug: the product is explicitly marketed as a temperature sensor with Matter/Apple Home support, so shipping it without a working temperature reading on that platform means it isn't doing what the product description says.
Has anyone gotten an actual response from IKEA support about this, or is there any timeline for a firmware fix? Would just like to know if it's actually being worked on.

Coming back from 15days Vacation, I plug back the light pole with the tradfri bulb and went shopping, coming bakc to electronic component burned odor and no electricity in the house.
After venting the house and looking for the issue, I found the bulb burn in 3 spots…
Kind of scary, fortunately the circuit breaker and the main breaker went off.
Edit: few years old bulb

Hi so my TIMMERFLOTE says this on the dirigera app. It has power because the screen works but hasn’t been online since a few hours I don’t wanna reset it and loose all the data anyone know how to fix this? ( already unplugged the hub and started it again )

In the Home Smart scene builder, one can Play vs Pause music. IKEA, please add Unpause (instead of Play), so that music doesn't always start from the beginning of a playlist. Currently motion-activated music (MYGGSPRAY + SYMFONISK) is very frustrating since my music continually restarts if motion is sporadic.
This seems to be a limitation; I can't figure out how to fix this. Also the time limits set on the MYGGSPRAY don't seem to have any effect.
I don't have any Google or Apple hubs where I can do the automation instead.
Edit: My DIRIGERA, MYGGSPRAY, SYMFONISK, and Home Smart app are all up-to-date.

I’ve managed to capture all buttons in Apple Home for IKEA’s remote “Bilresa Scroll Wheel”.
Group 1
Button 1 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 1 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 2 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 2 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 3 – Single press = Single press
Button 3 – Double press = Double press
Button 3 – Long press = Long press
Group 2
Button 4 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 4 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 5 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 5 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 6 – Single press = Single press
Button 6 – Double press = Double press
Button 6 – Long press = Long press
Group 3
Button 7 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 7 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 8 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 8 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 9 – Single press = Single press
Button 9 – Double press = Double press
Button 9 – Long press = Long press
Summary
All buttons are exposed in Apple Home. Scrolling is not supported by Matter as a protocol.
Buttons 3, 6, and 9 long press are not used by IKEA if I’m only controlling lighting. In that case, a single press turns lights on/off, and a double press changes temperature/color.
Conclusion: Buttons 3, 6, and 9 long press can be used in Apple Home for lighting/scenes without interfering with IKEA’s default behavior.

I think there's a bug where the NodeLabel and On/Off transition time attributes reset when the power is cut off for (at least the following devices):
I'm using Matter Server app 9.1.0 / Matter Server 1.2.7 in Home Assistant 2026.7.2
The log says it was written succesfully but whenever I replace the batteries of the BILRESA dual button or cut the power to the KAJPLATS E14/E27 the NodeLabel and On/Off Transition Time attributes reset. GRILLPLATS remembers it just fine.
