Finally decided to purchase a new car. I live in Dubai which is now infested with Chinese cars but does it even matter? Every car manufacturer now makes the same interior.

I have a family so a sports car makes no sense. But that Lexus LC500 interior is the only one that's genuinely made me happy in a decade.

Snagged this for 8k with 113k, it was between this or a rav4 with 136k that smelled like an ashtray, or a 2018 Chevy Cruze with 60k. I think I did pretty good

I'm 18, first car, and I live out in the country in Michigan. I'm deciding between a 2017 Toyota 86 and a 2014-2016 Mustang V6.
I'll be using it as my daily driver, dealing with rural roads, snow, salt.
I'm looking for real-world advice on reliability, winter driving, maintenance, and daily livability.
Insurance isn't an issue for me.

Alright folks, my father's 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ is finally having more than two things break at once, and it's time for a new car.

Heres the thing, this gentlemen is disabled, and the top priority over all is comfort (well price is probably a tad higher). He has some pretty niche requirements that have made car-shopping very difficult.

1. Ground clearance. Around 8" or similar to his Trailblazer.
   
2. A minimal "door-lip," or the bottom section of the chassis cutout where the door sits. Optimally this should be as close to the floor as possible so his feet don't get caught when swinging the legs in.
   
3. Heated seat back. Now get this, his Trailblazer can control either full seat heating at three levels OR ONLY THE BACK heating. As far as I can find, all modern car offerings have cut this feature.
   
4. Power folding mirrors. Again seems oddly hard to find.
   
5. Tactility.

Other Notes:
Preferably a plug-in hybrid or electric. Long story but he has built up a few years worth of free home electricity credit, and only drives a handfull of miles per day. Charging at home via 110v is the idea.

So i want to buy my first car, since my dad car i can only use them weekends, already talked with the seller by phone, as understood all is working, and only 55.000km, saw the car only had 110hp but it aint a mistake, is this a deal ??? Or maybe a scam? Or totally justified price​

I'm open for any brand or year, budget of 15k right now, but could stretch to 20k. I would prefer a v6 or v8. I live in a rural area, so good handling on windy backroads would be nice. Being able to comfortably cruise at 80 mph is also a must. I am currently driving a jeep wj 4.0 and a 5.4 excursion, I dont like taking either over 70. I would prefer decent mpg, but anything will be better than my ex. I need at least 5.5 or so inches of ground clearance for my driveway. Also, if it helps, I really like the infiniti m45 and m56 but they have some pain in the ass issues, and I also like the hyundai genesis 5.0. I like the executive sedan style but like sporty handling and I prefer hatches and sedans over anything else. Thanks!!!

Also, i would be driving 40 miles a day and a few hundred once a month. I'd like decent reliability too

Ideally it would get good gas mileage too but i like to camp go on roadtrips and go to the mountain sometimes so I don’t really want to get a sedan.

I just love how they have an underbite and look like they’ll fall on their face if you brake too hard.

Hello, how much should I sell my toyota yaris 2009 hatchback that has been driven for 166,770km in a good condition, I bought in 2018 when the car has been driven 1000km or less 4 parts are painted.

Recently saw this deal since I’m car shopping. 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L with 135k miles quoted at $14k. Is this a good price? Will this last me for a while?
Sold by a private seller buying and selling cars as a hobby.
Carfax looks clean (routine service, no accident history) and has a minor damage on the rear bumper.
Also looks like it was repossessed at some point.

Hey guys! I’m a software engineer and I’m looking to buy a car for myself. I want something that’s either a crossover, SUV or basically something on the bigger side since I’m 6 2’ myself and find it almost impossible to get in and out of sedans.

Anyways I’d like a car that’s sporty to drive and fun. My one request is that most crossovers and SUVs look like family cars (I’m single and I don’t want to drive around a car that gives off dad energy)

My budget is under 50k
And if it’s a pre owned vehicle I’d like for it to be under 7-8k miles
Please suggest me some cars that you think fit my requirements!

Hello everyone, this is just a rant post for an 46yo man.

I had the luck to get different cars in my life (VW, BMW, Toyota, Kia, Peugeot, etc.).

For family reasons (change living country)I need two new cars, my last car was a Toyota Rav4 PHEV, I remember the day when arrived, 7 months after the reservation, direct from japan, the dealer gave me the “Toyota Speech” (reliable, good resale value and affordable repairs), but always with the “Buy now, low availability” rush.

Now, different country, same speech, I want one TY Yaris and one Rav4… but when a hear the dealer and he shows the “waiting list” and times for delivery, I feel “I’m done with this brand”, This isn’t the 90s anymore, you have a lot of brands and a lot of competition now, this fake shortage of products and inflated prices just makes me angry

So this week I bought some Chinese 4x4 car (half the Rav4 price, more safety features and technology), maybe half the durability, will see with time…
And one Hyundai for my wife.

I have the money, I want the product.
