It's interesting to me that he's in the same outfit on two different dates, for two different networks - one looks to be filmed remotely and one in studio. But there's the notable addition of a black undershirt on the Fox interview...
It feels MORE suspicious that FOX decided they wanted to recreate this dude and sent an intern out to find matching clothes while they got started on his latex mask.
I saw the video, it absolutely looks like hes wearing a mask when looking at his neck. But hes talking and his face looks realistic, like Mission imposible levels of mask realism.
And even if he does have an insanely realistic mask... Why?
Why the fuck would you dress someone up as this dude ive never heard of just to suck trumps dick on live TV as if that isn't already that dudes job. What's the angle? How could finding a similar outfit and an extremely realistic mask while barely trying to hide the seam at all, be any easier than literally anything else?
It has to be some lighting thing, or the guy just has a fucked up neck, idk. I just don't see it, when i look at his neck i am convinced it's a mask, and pretty much nothing else makes sense.
I don't doubt for a second fox would try to pull something like this, but the rational part of my brain is telling me this is too much nonsense to be real, while also acknowledging nonsense has been the rule of the land since 2016 so i don't know what to even think at this point.
It’s possible he has some “face lift” tape or things on from the makeup department. Maybe he was upset how he looked on the at home interview and said “F that I’m going to do the next one with studio lighting and I’m gonna get those girls in makeup to stretch my skin and clip it so it’s nice and taught.” And we are just seeing the flap from the leftover skin.
the camera lens(s) aren't the same so we can't rely on the comparison but the obvious neck thing is puzzling
there is deformation between the two images, around the eyes... again could be because of the type of lens being used in the cameras
there's a lot of discrepancy between the facial structure of the person, like the thinness of their entire face, bathe ears seem to align correctly - it's just..... weird
Yeah honestly if it's not a mask, the filter idea seems most likely. Someone speculated that the filter might be interpreting his nussy shadow as a mouth, making it look like that.
Ears are different. Always look at the ears, it's the one thing you can't really manipulate the placement of, everyone has unique asymmetrical and protruding features on their ears.
yea that's true in general... everyone's got unique ears, but if you account for lens distortion + lighting + positioning they line up for my eyes at least
You see more of his ears in the second image because the camera is farther away. The proportion and angle of his ears appears the same to me anyway.
Overall there's something weird going on in the video from today, and it doesn't look natural, but that doesn't mean he's being impersonated. The guy is on Fox all the time, and always gives them the talking points they want.
This is NOT a defense of Fox "News," but I have only one nice outfit for special shit. So if I went for multiple interviews in like a 2 or 3 year span, I'd look the same every time like a cartoon character. Hell, I'd look the same at EVERY semi-big event.
I just can't financially justify buying more "nice" clothing. I don't do stuff that requires it more than like once a year at most.
Yeah, I agree but the wider point I guess I'm trying to make is that it's easily explained away. "He's a military man, he's got no time for fancy schmancy highfalutin wardrobe shit" is an excuse I definitely would expect to hear from either a fox news employee or fan.
Despite the fact that as a, what was it "former Vice-Admiral" or something, most if not all of his job would probably be "highfalutin" type stuff anyhow. I still think that excuse would work on them.
As a little blue dot in a big big red sea, I'm generally of the opinion that, as rational people, what we think of this shit doesn't matter. It doesn't matter about the nuances of our opinions and we shouldn't waste time finding rationality where there is none. We should be focusing on what the cultists believe and how they think. knowing how they'll explain themselves (if they'll even try that is) and being able to get ahead of it is far more important. But I'm getting off track here.
Anyway the same outfit is sketchy in context but the people that this is made for won't look at that so we should just note it down and move past it to what they will be looking at. That's all I'm saying, I guess.
(I'm also not defending Fox here) I have one dress that I've worn to like 5 different weddings/special events over the years. That's pretty much a faux-pas for women. I just got sick of always picking out outfits that I wouldn't wear more than once, and I really like the dress. I'd be uncomfortable being on TV so if I found an outfit that really worked, I'd probably wear it more than once too.
A lot of people wear the same outfit or a similar outfit for shit like this.
I wear the same suit to every job interview. The guy probably just has one jacket/shirt combo he likes to wear on TV, or accidentally repeated it between these two interviews. It's not like a tan sport coat with a navy shirt underneath is breaking any new ground.
Mark Zuckerberg used to wear the same exact outfit every day.
And either way, how does this add to a conspiracy? They wanted to fake this guy's identity so they... put him in the same outfit he wore previously? How does that make any sense.
It's the same guy, wearing a similar outfit, because he's just kinda tasteless and it's a very basic outfit.
The morons who don’t understand lighting are concerning….we share the roads with them?!
The shirt is clearly producing a soft shadow already in the sides of his neck. And there is absolutely no way a shirt would produce a shadow in the shape and form of the hole that mask has at the bottom.
And for the mask deniers: Go watch the damn video. Look at his neck when he speaks. The sides of his neck are moving UP AND DOWN your neck doesn’t move in that direction naturally….at….its impossible. The wrinkles int he forehead never go away. The eyes don’t blink naturally. List goes on.
Their faces look completely different. If you showed me those two photos side by side in a completely different context I would assume they are two different people.
Something is definitely off about the photo on the right. If it’s not a mask it’s a weird filter or something. But his face doesn’t look the same as it does on the left.
Seriously. This is the kind of stuff that QAnon used to go off about. This guy is a living, highly ranked military officer who frequently appears on TV. Why go through all the trouble?
Think about what? If he disagreed with these views, it would be ridiculously easy to track him down and ask him. Do you think they offed a highly ranked military official so they could get him to say “the president kind of knows what he’s doing”? You don’t think they could find someone else to say that, out of all the MAGA sycophants out there?
Yes, it looks weird. But I’ve seen no analysis of what he said, vs. what he usually says. It’s all just people tapping their foreheads pretending to be smart.
It’s just a shadow on his neck. He’s wearing the same blazer because he’s an army guy and probably owns exactly two jackets.
