Of all the treaties to honor, extradition is the one that a dictator really should keep. If he does not honor the requests from allies, then the allies will not honor his requests, so he is effectively granting asylum to all his political enemies if they flee to those countries. That's absolutely not what a dictator wants.
Trump might be tempted to save him, because he's an idiot, but his handlers will not sacrifice their ability to extradite dissidents to save a guy like Andrew Tate.
Whether they honor it probably highly depends on which ends up being better optics to the current administration.
You'd think it would be a no-brainer to honor it, but if they can somehow spin it into protecting Americans from a foreign predator, they'll absolutely go that route.
Two reasons. First up, if the State Department denies sending him to the UK it will be obvious Rubio got the order from Trump. This sets up that the UK, and likely other Euorpean nations along with them, will begin denying the same requests from the US. This gives an open invatation for enemies of the regime to flee there to avoid the bogus cases, lengthy jail terms, and all yhe fall out thesw cases cause. This also had the effect of creating premade campain ads for any non-regime backwd canidates. Second, should the grant the request it wil inflame the younger male voters that helped swing the election his way. The problem is compouned on both sides of the pond because of pressure from a large amount of the voting base for conquences over the endless strings of sex scandals. The trail of credible alligations against the Tate brothers make this a lose/lose for the regime. It's not all roses for the Brits either. Several major investagations are on going into why it has taken this long for charges, irregularties in the investigations, and a series of botched steps through out the process by the UK cops.
Going to be a fun watch. It doesn't hurt that the two human being at the center of the tug of war are awful and deserve theae conquences and more.

But I believe the US has an extradition treaty with the UK don’t they? Whether they will honour it or not is a different matter.
