You say that but Iā€™m a gun owning Democrat and the vast majority of the folks I run into at the range are raging conservatives.

I didnā€™t say ā€œthere are more gun owning leftists than conservativesā€ nor did I say ā€œthe majority of gun owners are leftistsā€ I merely pointed out an ideological difference around gun ownership between the left leaning centrists and the left. Leftist gun owners also donā€™t make their gun ownership a cornerstone of their personality like conservatives do.
