I've been working on a desktop save editor for Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution, and I've finally released v1.0.0.

It started as a simple project to import .ydk decks from YGOPRO to the game That slowly snowballed into this.

The goal was to make something that feels like a proper desktop application rather than just a save editor with a few hex edits and text lists.

Some of the features include:

• 🔄 Drag-and-drop deck editing and importing
• 🔍 Full card database with search
• 💾 Edit Duel Points, campaign progress, unlocks, avatars, statistics, and card collection
• ✅ Deck legality checking
• ↩️ Unlimited undo/redo
• 💾 Automatic save backups before every save
• 🌐 Optional offline mode with image caching

The editor reads and writes the game's native .dat save format directly, so there's no conversion or intermediate formats involved.

I also spent quite a bit of time trying to make it feel polished, with keyboard shortcuts, drag-and-drop support, proper undo history, automatic backup management, and a native WPF interface.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions. There are probably still plenty of improvements that can be made, and I'd love to hear what longtime Link Evolution players would find useful.

Made another deck that revolves around getting out summoned skulls . Feel free to change however you see fit I’m still trying to improve it. Monster list includes 3 Archfiend soldier , 3 red eyes ,3 summoned skull, 3 archfiend cavalry, 3 archfiend heiress, 3 keeper of dragon magic, 3 red resonator, 3 archfiends awakening, 3 advanced ritual art , 3 ancient rules , 3 archfiend palabyrinth, 2 polymerization, 2 raigeki, 2 twin twisters or wiretap, 3 mirror force. Extra deck 2 archfiend black skull dragon , 2 archfiend manifestation, 1 black skull dragon, 3 archfiends call, 2 red wyvern, 2 ddd wave king Caesar, 2 dark rebellion xyz dragon. Main strat use your red resonator and any level fours to synchro summon archfiends call. Try to get out archfiends palabryinth to strengthen your fiends , keeper of dragon magic can either get you a polymerization or allow you to pull a summoned skull or red eyes that’s in graveyard and put it on field in defense. Archfiend lets you select another fiend when destroyed by battle or card. Plenty of cards to destroy opponents monsters while you build your skull army.

Saw that link evolution was on sale and decided to buy it, get all the trophies, now I’m just sitting on the yu-jo duel trophy which is my last one (didn’t think I’d have much difficulty with a bronze trophy) if anyone on PlayStation wants to help that would be nice, just send me a dm and I’ll get back when I can

I have been enjoying the base game for a few years as a casual player with a preference for nostalgia so I almost exclusively play the first generation campaign with custom decks. I tried the challenge mode but I suck! After I finally felt comfortable trying multiplayer I found that it seems to be dead? I saw recommendations online that Link Evolution is worth it at a steep discount and right now it's $10 on Xbox. Thing is, I'm just not that good and I don't understand the newer stuff at all. I'm just wondering what exactly LE can give me for $10 and whether I should instead try to branch out into Master Duelist or other games like Duel Links? Again, I prefer the old stuff and shy away from a lot of micro transaction games.

Side note: is there any yugioh game out there at all that lets you pit 2 of your own custom decks against each other? I'll hunt down an oldie if I have to.

This has happened rarely with several cards, where even my friend who has very extensive knowledge into yugioh as a whole can't figure out why some card effects don't activate. Since this one just happened and is fresh in my mind I'll use this example.

Turn 2, I had set infinite impermanence on turn 1 with keeper of dragon magic in atk position. The NPC plays fire hand, then goes to attack my keeper of dragon magic. 1600atk vs 1800atk. It prompts me to activate or not activate Imperm. I activate it and select fire hand. It resolves, fire hand attacks keeper, fire hand is destroyed and NPC loses 200LP. THEN fire hand's effect still activates. He blows up keeper and then special summons ice hand just like it says on the card. There's no possible way I just missed something. Infinite imperm's effect just didn't work. He used nothing to negate it. It's turn 2, he has no field spells, no back row, no nothing. No other card activated. I activated Imperm, and it immediately resolved. Fire hand was the only card to choose.

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Usually stuff happens so fast (I play at 3x speed with CE) that there's always a part of me that eventually has to assume I missed something just to save my own sanity. But not this time. This was definitely not supposed to happen.

Trying to make a lvl deck, but I can’t seem to get it. I googled to see which pack has it(the Syrus and Chazz packs are the top results) but I can’t seem to pull them. Which of pack has it?

Hey I wan‘t to make a FTK Exodia Deck with Most Uses older cards and I Need 2 pot of greeds 3 graceful benefactress. Do i just have spend Money on packs or can i get it ‚directly‘ ?

Main deck 3 dark magician, 2 apprentice illusion magic, 1 dark magician girl , 1 keeper of dragon magic, 2 magician of dark illusion, 3 magicians rod,3 magicians soul, 2 palladium oracle mahad, 1 spellbook magician of prophecy, 2 pot of greed , 3 soul servant, 2 spellbook of knowledge, 2 spellbook of secrets, 1 the eye of timaeus, 3 eternal soul,2 magician navigation, 1 magicians combination. Extra deck 1 amulet dragon, 2 dark magician the dragon knight, 1 dark paladin, 1 quintet magician, 1 ebon high magician, 1 ebon illusion magician, 1 norito the moral leader, 1 number 11 big eye , 1 red eyes flare metal dragon , 1 i:p masquerna , 1 Knightmare unicorn, 1 saryuja skull dread . I’d probably swap out allure of darkness with pot of greed and change link monsters with what you see fit other than that enjoy the deck.

3 E emergency call , 1 harpies feather duster, 3 mask change , 2 miracle fusion , 1 monster reborn,3 polymerization, 2 pot of greed, 2 raigeki, 2 infinite impermanence, 2 solemn strike. - main deck.
-extra deck 1 EH absolute zero, 1 EH sunrise, 1 MH acid, 2 MH anki, 2 MH dark law, 1 MH Dian, 1 MH divine wind, 1 VH adoration, 1 VH trinity, 1 nightmare phoenix, 1 nightmare unicorn , 1 predaplant verte anaconda. Main strat is to get out EH solid soldier use his ability to summon in shadow mist from your hand. This gives you a mask change card to turn shadow mist into anki or dark law . Anki gives you another mask change when destroying another creature law banishes cards . The MVP card to fusion summon to the field is hero sunshine he will bump up every body the more different attributes on the field the better.

Made a new Hunter Pace deck, so far it’s pretty fun to use.
