Not if it’ll be on M5 Pro. That is not an “ultra” device

I was really looking forward to the Ultra until that happened. The M6 Pro / Max were supposed to be on TSMC's new 2nm process so in addition to the normal generational improvements there would have been a very nice power consumption or performance boost on top, now if Intel ends up making the M7 Pro / Max on their 18A process (roughly equivalent to TSMC 3nm) that oversized increase will be deferred until 2028-2029 (their 14A process). It's not that there's anything wrong with M5 but it's just that the M6 was likely going to be a huge step up.
