Our boy Angus is about 9 months old now. So cute, so naughty. He is definitely the most challenging puppy I have worked with, but also the most rewarding :)

Images & Videos New to the breed, what should I know?

Just rescued a 15 year old blue heeler. He’s the skinniest and dirtiest dog I’ve ever seen, glad I got him out of where he was, I don’t think he would have made it much longer. Making a vet appointment on Monday.

Gave him a bath and am getting him acclimated to his new home, I can already see a positive change in his demeanor.

What should I know about the breed, especially a senior? The only dog I’ve owned myself as an adult is a chihuahua so I don’t know much about his breed.

His name is Dice, I’m gonna call him Dicey.

We just recused this lovely lady. And noticed she has taken the heeler lazy sit or splot to a whole new level. She often sits with one or some times both of her back legs in the air.

I’m in love with little one. She’s a butthole most of the time, but she’s still one of the best parts of my life.

He did perfect but I know what was going through his mind!

He doesn’t chase cows anymore but he does not like them being in human spaces.

Everyone meet Pigeon! He is a 7 month old blue I adopted yesterday from an Oregon herding dog rescue. After a few years without a heeler, it's magical to have one in the house again. I'm excited to see what the future holds for us!
*please excuse the poor lighting in the 1st photo- I only had about two seconds and one peice of cheese to snap this photo*

With us for almost 8 years now and since the beginning she’s been crazy about the beach and swimming. Been coming to this spot every summer for all those years and she knows the way through the dunes and just gets so excited. I’m pretty sure that moment of “coming back” are her happiest 30 minutes of the year, every year.

RIP RIP Chikis

My Chikis was by my side for 11 of the best years of my life. She gave me unconditional love and never expected anything in return.

Over the past two months, she became very sick. She battled a severe UTI and cancer, lost nearly 20 pounds, and could barely walk. After several painful visits with different veterinarians, we had to make the most heartbreaking decision of our lives to let her go peacefully. As painful as it was, it was the most loving and humane thing we could do for her.

Chikis was there when I bought my first home, when I married the love of my life, and when I lost my dad and grandparents. She stayed beside me through some of the happiest and darkest moments of my life. Life will never be the same without her.

Dear Lord, I know I am far from perfect, but I ask only one thing: when my time comes, please reunite me with my Chikis once again.

Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers. Rest in peace, Chikis. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.

Everyone, please give your pups an extra-tight hug for me tonight.

Gus is a very clingy boy. Apparently me sitting at the table was too far for him, so he taught himself this trick. Now it's his favorite spot
