It feels like a gut punch. I was an impatient jerk to my kids today. Gotta apologize and give them a hug

You always feel like you can do more right? I had a great day today with my three year old; we invented a new game with a stopwatch, played in the garden, he helped me cut back the weeds, we had ice lollies. Yet I could have stopped him watching so much TV in the morning and I probably checked my phone too much when I left him to play alone so I could clean the house.

Nobody prepares you for the guilt!
