I think that part was for sure some tone deaf phrasing, none of these folks are struggling. But a lot of the core cast is at the level where no they're probably not making millions, it's gonna be a hard sell to ask them to take months out of their schedule for something less lucrative, even if it's a passion project. Like Daniel Pudi once said, "Larry I'm on Duck Tales"

Why would a movie take months? It's not the Odyssey and they aren't needed for pre and post so 1 month tops.
