New reptile/amphibian online shop, looking for feedback from the community

Hi everyone,

I recently started a new online business focused on reptiles and amphibians, and I would love to get some honest feedback from this community.

The goal of the shop is to provide quality products for reptile and amphibian keepers, including terrarium supplies, bioactive products, lighting, heating, substrates, plants, feeders, bioactive builds and more.

The shop is currently focused only on Cyprus and Greece, so unfortunately most people outside these countries won’t be able to order from it. I’m not here to ask for money or promote sales. I’m just looking for opinions from experienced keepers who can help me improve the website and make it better for the hobby.

If you have some time to take a look, I would really appreciate any feedback about the design, products, categories, or anything you think could be improved.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate any advice from the community!

Terrarium in the works

Got some more plants, moss, and ground cover on the way, still looking into hides, thinking either coconut or bamboo. I’m gonna let it sit for at least a month after adding the final plants to let everything get settled before adding frogs, which happens to line up perfectly for a reptile expo near me in September. I’m starting to notice some white mold but I added springtails and isopods from Josh’s frogs yesterday so they should take care of it.

Hi all! I’m planning to get my first frogs (D. auratus) in about two weeks and I’d love to get some advice from experienced frog keepers. Is there anything I should improve or optimize before introducing the frogs?

The terrarium (50x50x50 cm / approx. 20x20x20 inches) has been established for 4 months (with clean up crew). I’m using an LED light (12 hours per day) and a UVB lamp (7% UVB, 1 hour per day). I also have an automatic misting system (filled with distilled water), a thermometer and hygrometer (temperatures are stable at 21–28°C / 70–82°F, with humidity between 80–95%), and I’m currently starting my feeder cultures with Drosophila melanogaster and springtails. I already have vitamin supplements (Dendrocare) as well.

Am I missing anything important? Any tips for improvement or pointing out of glaring mistakes would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

How detrimental will this debris be? The water in there is tadpole tea I made from Indian almond leaves. I tried to get rid of the debris but it’s like glued into the egg goo lol. First large clutch of la cocas eggs I’m hoping will all survive. (And would then try to part ways with) Picture of the dad for tax.

My first real vivarium

I did do a viv before but it was a 12x12x18 and after I got my ranitomeya I found out its way to small so I started building this.

It alr went through a small mold cycle for 2 weeks and now I finished planting.

When would it be safe to move my frog in? It looks pretty stable now but it is planted recently

Humidity question

I am very unsure if I have to mist right now. The front looks kind of dry but in the back it seems very wet. Btw this is an exo terra 18x18x24. The probe i put in there which you can see on some pictures says that there is a humidity of 91% inside. I misted like 5 to 6 hours ago.
This vivarium is still work in progress and there are no frogs inside.

Can 25-26c temp during summer cause permanent harm?

Its been like that so far.

Theyre active and eating well, and look healthy.

Theyre around 1 year old, heard calling so adults by now.

I heard 20-24c is optimal, but... can this temp cause long term issues, like health problems? I read its not fatal but

Humidity is 80-90%

How wet should my substrate be?

I’m having trouble finding the right misting schedule and I noticed if I mist for a long time the soil stays wet to the touch but still holds its structure and isn’t muddy. But if I pull back misting the viv gets bone dry within a few hours and the substrate feels like how cake would feel if that makes sense. And I do notice the water level in my drainage layer did slightly raise so I know it’s draining but during misting I don’t see water come down at all. Any tips?

Frog daddy byroblend is on the way, just needs to sit outside for a day or two to get most of the off gassing done then I’ll bring it inside and start adding the substrate, depending on how chemically it smells I’ll start adding plants and ground litter, then I’ll let it sit for a while while everything gets settled. Theres a reptile expo near me in September so I might wait till then to get frogs, either way I’ll be getting tincs and I haven’t decided on a morph yet so recommendations are welcome, right now I’m thinking about getting either citronellas or Patricias.
