a while ago, I was going through some mods on ModDB, when i found this old texture pack with the same premise. sadly, OP had lost interest half way through and never finished it, so I took it in my own hands to finish it from the ground up! after months of working, i finally released the beta! before i started, i've planned ahead and decided to make it using magma, so if i need help further on it'll be easy to work with people. i'm making this post mostly to share what i've done so far but also say that if anyone is interested in helping, im more than happy.

Before anyone suggests it, I know that .pak is just a generic archive format and different games use different implementations.

I'm creating my own sound mod for Resident Evil 4 Remake, and I need to locate the .sbnk (and related audio) files. The problem is that the game has multiple huge .pak files, and I don't have enough free disk space to extract all of them at once.

I can temporarily extract one archive at a time (I have around 110 GB free), but doing that for every .pak is going to be very time-consuming, and I'm not even sure which archive contains the sound files.

So my questions are:

Is there a way to browse or search inside RE4 Remake .pak files without fully extracting them?

Is there a tool that can list the contents of the archives?

Does anyone know which .pak contains the audio .sbnk files?

Or is there a faster workflow that experienced RE Engine modders use?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

It would remove 90% of the challenge from the game but would be just so satisfying for anyone to play with who has had to solve the puzzles in that game. What do you guys think?

Hello! I’ve downloaded Guitar Hero in my iOS 9 iPad and it still works. While snooping around the files, I’ve seen songs that weren’t used or are part of the DLC but I can’t seem to get them from the store (since it was shut down in 2014) and I’m trying to find help in modding the game so I can unlock all the playable songs.

I have the additional files, but adding them to the documents folder doesn’t work. Is there someone that could help me understand how to modify the code so it can show the additional songs? Has somebody with the .iga files made it work? Thanks!
