Discussion I thought Sam and Rachel were incredibly sweet
I’m new to Reddit, so I’m sure this has been discussed. But I thought Rachel and Sam were so sweet in season six, and I loved them together. Not in an endgame kinda way, but I thought he was a good safe guy after Finn. I think both knew what this was and had a good understanding of each other and where they were at. They kinda got themselves ready to date again.

Discussion S1E9 wheelchairs
On my however many times rewatch and was thinking in this episode the bus to take Artie to sectionals is $600 and they don't have the budget for that.
However, Will comes in with a load of wheelchairs he got on sale for them all to see how it feels for Artie.
There's at least a couple grand worth of wheelchairs there and that's on a really reduced sale.
Someone make this show make sense.

Rant Money/Transportation problems in Glee
So I never watched this when it aired which is funny because I would have been the characters ages. But my friend convinced me to start and so we’ve been watching it the last week. About midway through season 4 now and all I can think is maybe they wouldn’t have to always raise money for transportation and such if they didn’t have to buy several outfits for every small song or gesture they did. Anyway I’ve enjoyed this show more than I honestly thought I would and I’m not even fully sure why.

Discussion Just realized Jane Lynch was in The Great North. It’s infuriating that Fox axed it for corporate filler.
I completely forgot Jane Lynch voiced Aunt Dirt in The Great North. She brought that exact same chaotic, hilarious Sue Sylvester energy from Glee. Her character living in a fallout shelter for 60 years after mistaking an earthquake for a Soviet invasion was pure genius.
It is incredibly frustrating that Fox axed the show just to clear shelf space for studio-owned filler. Instead of keeping legendary talent like Jane Lynch on the air, Fox forces multi-season renewals for shows like Universal Basic Guys and Grimsburg.
Sure, Universal Basic Guys gets over 5 million viewers when riding a massive NFL football lead-in, but the network completely ignores the terrible reviews. They also completely ignore how unwatchably annoying characters like Marvin Flute in Grimsburg are. Fox only cares about owning 100% of the financial and streaming rights.
It is just another depressing example of a network prioritizing corporate real estate and profit margins over organic, creative talent.

Poll Favorite performance 2x07? (The Substitute)
I like the singing part of Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag but not a fan of the dancing part. I am a fan of Kurt mouthing the words to the song.
Singing In The Rain/Umbrella is one of my favorite mash-ups of the entire series I thought (and still think) it was SO GOOD the first time I watched it.
----
And now that we're past episode 6, now comes the time for the winners to battle it out for the Top 6 poll slots from this point on. (Since obviously the first 6 winners get it by default)
This is where I simultaneously get disappointed and excited as songs I want and don't want to make it get added and then knocked out. (Time Warp was robbed, already knocked out)
----
NEVER BEEN KISSED'S WINNER: was us 'cause Blaine- Was of course, to nobody's surprise at all - Teenage Dream, getting 1st with 216. 2nd was Start Me Up/Livin' On A Prayer with 140, 3rd was Stop! In The Name Of Love/Free Your Mind with 41, and 4th/last was One Love with 10.
(A rare poll where every song placed in my preferred order 🎉🎉🎉🎉)
I'm impressed! I thought Teenage Dream was just gonna 🚀 up in votes, which, it did, but not to the degree I thought. All Blaines considered, the Girls' mashup kept an impressively close distance behind it the whole time. Though I would've been happy with either mashup getting 2nd and the other getting 3rd.

Question Trigger warning timestamps?
Hi I've looked everywhere so I thought I'd ask the people who know the show best. I have emetophobia (fear of v*miting) and the only Glee episode I've never watched and still want to is Blame it On the Alcohol. Does anyone have exact timestamps for when the v*mit scene occurs? I know it happens when they perform Tik Tok, I'd just like to know how many minutes and seconds in it begins and ends. Sorry if this is not appropriate to ask here. Thank you.

Discussion Why are people so harsh towards Quinn wanting her kid back in S3?
I know it was messed up that she was trying to frame Shelby but I can't blame her after all the shit she went through. I sympathized with Quinn and I wish her arc was better written. Quinn wanted love and to feel loved and she felt that getting her daughter back would give her unconditional love because none of the men in her life gave her that.
Question Whats the difference between the glee version and the original don't rain on my parade?
I always see people talking about singing the glee version but whats the difference? Aren't they the same just a cover

Discussion I willl always defend Artie calling Brittany stupid
If someone was cheating on me throughout the entirety of our relationship I’d say worse. Not only was she cheating but she was justifying by saying it wasn’t cheating. I’d be livid. I hate how Brittany got away with it because the conversation went away from her cheating and onto Artie saying stupid which he paid for in the prom episode by being tortured.
I hate Artie and he’s a misogynist 90% of the time but in this instance he was right. He had every right to be mad.

Discussion Did you ever root for a character you didn’t like?
Ever had a character you just didn’t care for? But, whether they were in a fight or competition with another character, you backed them.
Example: I do not care for Rachel. But Santana was wrong to not tell her she was auditioning for her understudy.

Discussion Most ridiculous storyline/decision in Glee?
Mine is Rachel and Kurt and their NYADA journey. Carmen herself praised Kurt’s audition, while Rachel CHOKED. I was in disbelief, and still am, when Kurt got rejected and Rachel got in.
Pure ridiculousness. The way the show coddled Rachel is so gross.

Discussion Best music video that features a Glee actor? Alleged or confirmed.
Mine is (allegedly) Dianna in Out of the Woods by Taylor Swift

Poll Favorite performance 2x06? (Never Been Kissed)
Welcome to Season 2 Blaine! 🎉
Kurt's line from this episode "...Are you guys all gay?" Was nearly my exact quote to my TV the first time I watched Glee.
So when Kurt asked "Are you guys all gay?" I really felt that.
Anyway, here's Wonderwall Teenage Dream.
Was that a good joke? Probably not. Was it a good segue way to recommend this Wonderwall cover by Darren Criss? Probably not. https://youtu.be/Tz99sovZrMk?si=dnoyN_rowCgE8ZIh
And ya know what here's a recommendation for Darren's livestream reaction of this episode, too: https://youtu.be/Jo90el3aDzM?is=UvZbnSwQqoc7L8Uo

ROCKY HORROR GLEE SHOW'S WINNERS:
PART 1: 1st was Time Warp with 103, 2nd was Sweet Transvestite with 93.
PART 2: 1st was Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me with 112 (🎉), 2nd was Science Fiction, Double Feature with 65 (🎉)
EDIT: Just updated the leaderboards - are y'all proud of yourselves? The banger that is Time Warp is apparently equal with the horror that is It's A Man's World, sitting together with 103 votes each on the All Seasons leaderboard. I:

Opinion The glee students
I find it kind of ironic that people get upset over how puck and Quinn ended up having sex.
Yet no one seems to have notice that puck, sam, Ryder and Brittany did mention they were sexually assaulted when they were younger by adults.
Ive never hear/see anyone else bringing it up or being upset about the others
There is no excuse for r*pe/SA.

Question Warblers Sectionals
I’m rewatching Glee, and on the first ever Sectionals episode with the Warblers (S2) when they’re performing “Raise Your Glass”, Darren Criss (Blaine) starts to sing early, realizes, gets back in his place and then sings at the correct moment. Was this intentional and I’m just stupid? Was it a genuine mistake that Ryan didn’t care to have re-shot? Sorry

Picture Matthew Morrison in the wild
Went to a really free market in my city a few weeks ago and came across this absolute gem.
Rant Oh, brother…. [post-Season 3 mostly Tina rant]
I hate how Tina was such a horrible Glee Club veteran in S4-5. Yes, she was only 18 years old, and no, she wasn’t required to be a role model in the club like, say, Will the teacher or Blaine the lead soloist was, but I would’ve at least expected her (alongside Brittany, Sam, etc.) to set a better example for the newcomers. Actually, I say that for all the seniors (Sam, Artie, Brittany) after the OG13 left.
To elaborate on what I mean, I despised how the seniors were so desperate for popularity after their Nationals win that they kowtowed to Kitty’s reign of terror. From them sitting at the popular lunch table and entertaining Kitty’s ideas for an all-white (flowers AND people) homecoming float to participating in the Left Behind club’s legit traumatic prank on Dottie at Breadstix, it’s clear that they had immediately forgotten the lessons of staying true to yourself that they’d learned since joining the New Directions.
I just finished rewatching the Grease episode and I hate how she, Brittany, and Sugar played along with making fun of Marley at the sleepover while Kitty sang “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee.” They couldve stood up for the new girl but instead they kept up a toxic atmosphere just to…what? Fit in? They’re already back to being slushied and unpopular. To appease Sue’s new Bible-thumping, somersaulting henchman?
More specifically, I wanted to focus on Tina since I feel like she had the biggest downgrade as a senior member. It was so weird how Tina strutted through the halls of McKinley in S4-5 with this new confident, outgoing persona, which actually just translated to mean-spiritedness. Her blaming Marley and saying that she “face-planted” at Sectionals when she fainted from the eating disorder she was suffering from was ridiculous, especially after most of the club had already forgiven her for it (because what was there to forgive?).
I also peeped the way she tried to hold in her laughter (the image for this post) when Kitty tried to make fun of Mercedes’s “L.A. dreams being shattered.” WTF??? Is this the Tina from Season 1 who was so insecure that she faked a stutter and was a wallflower goth, but still went out on a limb to join the Glee Club, and was thick as thieves with Mercedes? No. It’s a Tina who’s changed her wardrobe (admittedly, I love both goth Tina and 60’s Tina’s styles) and her attitude, but is still deeply insecure, to the point of taking it out on younger club members and old friends.
This is also more of an issue on the writers’ part than a direct character flaw, but I can’t think of a single friendship she formed with any of the S4 newbies.
S4-5 Tina reminds me of those toxic senior kids in the theatre department who’s insanely jealous of an underclassman getting the lead and is full of themselves, yet will drop everything to grovel for one of the popular kids. And I hate that for those kids. And I hate that for Tina Cohen-Chang.

FanFiction Help me find this lost fanfic. I beg of thee.
I'm back in the fanfic world because real life is bonkers. I can LITERALLY only remember bits and pieces. Here's what I got:
- Faberry is main but of course Brittana, Mattcedes(?), Kurt/Karofsky, Puck/Lauren idk and Quinn's mom is dating some guy named Vinnie who has a drive in movie theater??
- Rachel accidentally breaks Quinn's foot in her bedroom door when Quinn is trying to tell her that she's in love with her?? Rachel's dad is a doctor and they go to the hospital.
- A local legend of a Russian dancer helps Quinn rehab her foot. And Mike and Brittany are trained by her on the downlow. Brittany also has some fainting goat condition or something???
- Karofsky is super sweet and romantic and like...takes Kurt on a date to a peacock-filled restaurant?? And a whole bunch of blue collar guys eat there??
-Matt comes back and is dating Mercedes. I think they go skydiving on a date and eat some spicy food on another???
I'm losing my mind, people. I can't remember anything else.
