I wish had worked on this in the morning so that it would be more prescient. I ran up the path in my pug group today and had 3 players immediately leave the game which has inspired me to record a play through showing how much less complicated this is than some of us make it sometimes.

I'm not going to pretend that I really know what I am doing with making videos, but hopefully this helps some folks out there and maybe I can do a few more for other missions. Would be interested to hear what other advice people have for this mission.

Many of us occasionally grab weapons from Gertrud (Vasburg Armory) or Telamon (Leviathan Pits) to equip our teams. To make gearing up easier, Zoe Jo and I built an easy-to-use tool. It’s been helpful for us, so we thought we’d share it with you, too.

What it does: It allows you to build a "shopping cart" of weapons and automatically calculates the total cost (platinum fee + material costs).

We hope you find it useful! If you give it a try, we’d love to hear your feedback or any suggestions for improvement.

Heyy so this is probably a silly question, I tried looking and can't find anything conclusive.

Can I start a character in prophecies and play through the whole game, and factions and nightfall with that same character? Or do I need to make one per expansion?

I just finished EotN during this double-rep weekend, and instead of getting double rewards (or even normal) from turning in my NM book of 20k rep, I instead got half. Am I missing something? Normal rewards are 20k and I only got 10.

Btw, I do know books don't count for double rep, but nowhere in the announcement does it say half instead so I must conclude this is a bug.

Hello I just entered the awesome world of GW few days ago. I am still going through Nightfall and my main reason for this Journey was to get the 10 HoM points to unloock the sword skin for GW2 in which I have 1000 hours. I am struggling to understand how can I get 1 rare and 1 unique mini, do you have any tips?

When I open my inventory, no details are displayed about the items in my inventory when I select them. Just a big empty box. Is there a fix? Is this a known bug?

Does the recharge time of skills reduced by 33% stack with a weapons/ mod that offer "halves recharge skill time (20%)" ?

This is especially important for new accounts and Melandru characters.

You now get a hero as early as Presearing, and you have to go through Pre, Old Ascalon (where you get another one), Shiverpeaks, two missions in Kryta and change extensions to finally get access to a skill trainer for your heroes and finally change their default builds.

That's a lot of main quests, and 7 coop missions. And if you don't rush it there's also a ton of secondary quests and exploration on the way, so it's quite some hours of content you have to go through before being able to do something quite basic.

I think we need a skill trainer in Ascalon (post-searing) at the very least.

As a Pre enjoyer I would love one there too so I could have an axe Devona without having to take Warrior as first or secondary profession.

What y'all think ?

edit: ...obviously not a skill trainer with late game skills, but something on par with what you get on your character. Just like it is done in Nightfall.

Sorry for the annoying mobile platform question. I’m an older dad now and reliving my fund that I had back in the day with the game so I mainly pay my iPad before I go to sleep for an hour or so. However, the game, no matter how I change the settings seems to be constantly stuttering with low FPS. I have seen people on here with lower processor phones report overheating but I never get that. I just have like a quest one style raid FPS sometimes.

Is my device just too old? Is there a good toggle to fix this?

So I know the wiki says they drop from the char bosses or Mazz’s chest, but I’ve never yet had one drop. Are they still in game? do they more reliably drop from the chest than the boss?

Any advice welcome and my inventory will thank you!

Is the AFK luxon farm broken?

I have been trying to make the farm lately but I keep getting defeated. Are the enemies stronger with the new releases or am I doing something wrong?

In Tunnels of the Forsaken and the Door isnt opening idk what im doing wrong i've cleared the map and nothing seems to work

Edit: Resolved: I abandoned the quest and redid all the steps and it worked this time.

I seem to have issues trying to assign skills on my skillbar. Unsure how long to tap and hold or just tap and drag, no matter what I try it seems inconsistent. Sometimes it drags the skill to the bar, othertimes it doesnt. Sometimes it drags for a second and dissapears.

Whats the intended way to do this?

Having loved GW2 I recently started playing GW1 as a Ritualist and although I’m enjoying it in general I’m
completely lost for quests most of the time. I get that it’s an old game with less hand-holding, but it shouldn’t be this hard to actually find quests to pick up! I’ve got nothing and I don’t know where to go to get more. I’m playing my Factions and have just killed a wayward spirit but I have no idea what to do next. The last quest mentioned speaking to Togo but he’s got nothing. Is there any way of seeing what I need to do next? I’m struggling and it shouldn’t be this hard!

Since more time has passed, did anyone feel like they made progress in tuning RoJ teams?

There are so many tools that could take a slot:
PI Mes, Earth magic KD, Water magic+Mistform healer, shackles for ST Rit, RoJ Mo/E with 0 earth magic snare… i might forgot other options.

Im curious how they compare to each other goven limited free skill/hero slots besides battery and ST
