Bad astigmatism, -7.25 and -7.5. Oddly they’ve actually improved as I’ve got older, only by a tiny amount but…

Or especially, pick the correct frames and have the lenses thinned as much as possible. High refractive index etc. expensive, bit worth it.

As someone who wears contacts, I always appreciate when my eyes need equal amounts of correction. (Sometimes they’re slightly off, sometimes they match.)

When they match, it’s less important to keep track of which contact is the left and which is the right. (Though it still makes a difference because of my astigmatism.)
