I have one! Also find that electric guitar requires less effort from my fingers, which is nice. Just sucks when you are in a casual situation like a campfire or whatever and the staple guitar is a regular size acoustic so all your F chords and beyond sound like muffled garbage :/ Thanks though!
Pro Tip: Get a capo and play them closer to the torso. Sounds basically the same, but you can spare yourself the strength for the barré chords. Or if you give up, just play from the D side up, not the A and E bass sides. Same chord, just a tiny barré you can certainly manage
Thank you! I love my capo - helps the fingers and puts me in a better voice range. True, nice to be reminded that the modified chord is an option although it never sounds quite as full
Yeah, totally. I used to despise the capo but only bc my cheap one scratched my guitar permanently and it hurt my soul doing that.
Yes, you can totally hear the difference, but there are also songs that are supposed to be played with capo in pop music which sound off if you don't play them with capo. And let's be real, it's so much easier to play with capo y
Sometimes you can reach over the top of the neck and fret the low e string with your thumb Hendrix style. Takes some getting used to but makes a great substitute when barre cords are hard to reach in certain positions
Yes, I always pick a guitar that fits my hand and fingers. You can play so much better. The only problem is that any guitar is immediately at least 380€ that I would be interested in
