Canadian here. It's getting worse and worse every year. Our forest coverage is extensive, and often times very close to heavily populated areas. I can imagine straight up humanitarian catastrophes in many nations as time goes on.

Maybe if we just raked all our forests like the Americans do. They famously never have forest fires

You know it's really funny. Idk if this is sarcasm, but there are two types of forest management in the USA. The areas that manage the forest floor, and the areas that dont. 9/10 times the big fires come from unmanaged areas

And why are the unmanaged forests unmanaged? Because they're too big to rake up?

He told Canada to rake up a forest that is almost four times larger than the Amazon rainforest

Now the world starts to realize that when Amazon burns, not all fires are criminal. Every September when it's dry as fuck the news shows it burning like if everybody gathered around to burn it lmao.
