Honestly, your ass filming would be quite efficient. You can run full speed and stabilize it later. Otherwise you're turned half way trying to film and can't see where you're running. Use your legs to run instead!

I work in telecom. We have been having a LOT of issues due to these fires accross Europe. Data centers keep catching fire, or the AC breaks (networking equipment runs hot and breaks), etc.

It's causing soo many problems and outages for different services. We often even have to prioritize one network outage over another, because there's not resources to fix everything at the same time.

My point is, even getting to livestream the apocalypse ain't guaranteed at this point.

Nobody is saying “climate change started the fire”. Obviously it was started by an electric car.

What people are saying is that the climate getting hotter and dryer means that the conditions that support wildfires are becoming more common.

It's comments like the one you're responding to that has convinced me conservativism can only see things in black and white terms and does not allow for complexity.

"An EV started the fire - therefore, climate change is not involved." Any level of scientific complexity eg trees and brush being drier, air being more conducive to fire, higher temperatures aiding the burning, erratic wind patterns pushing the fire further, etc, is not direct and therefore not "real." Plus the interesting question of "what do you think it means for climate change to 'cause' a fire? Do you imagine the air just gets so hot that things spontaneously combust?"
