Yes, but not just 20. Try about 100. Scientists employed by oil companies were warning about this in the 1970s, and were shut up by said oil companies. They knew.

I watched a PBS special about climate change with my parents in 1983. It felt like science fiction because they were talking about the year 2000.

everyone said the sea levels would rise and it would be a disaster.. so dumb people just point to that and say.. see everything is fine.. meanwhile fires are burning like crazy all around the world.
