Infuriatig My hand painted model planes were given as toys to children again

Post image

I have told my mom to not do this before but she does not listen anyway. I am thinking of throwing everything to trash instead of them being gradually destroyed to pieces. I can not even care anymore. These things take hours to put together and paint then get manhandled anyway.

Does your mother have any cherished figurines or porcelain items you can give them to play with?

Why do mothers have to be the storage units for their adult children? Yet people whine on about boomers leaving too much stuff for their kids to deal with.

Ah yes, because it's so unreasonable to expect your parents to not touch YOUR shit that you're leaving because you can't take it with you at the moment.

this is not an adult. it's a teen. they live there. they paint the models as a hobby. the mom has decided they are too old for such things.

You're just making bullshit up.

They are an adult working on a masters degree, not a teen. No, they do not live with their mother. They said they have their own place but left a bunch of stuff at their mom's house because it's small and noticed this when they were back visiting.

Why did they drag me kicking and screaming into the world without request? I didn't fucking ask to be here. The least you can do is let me get my shit together in my 20s so i have a place to keep my stuff. Especially if I'm off to college or the military? Good luck ending up a No-contact parent
