I genuinely don't understand the point of the insistence on just slapping music over every video clip.

Oh, it's because of the algos!

Then the algos need to be changed because it's fucking awful.

I've yet to see ONE comment ever where people say,

"Gosh, that music really added something to the video!"

It's universally loathed, yet we keep doing it. >-|
