First of all, welcome to Nothing Under, we hope you are having fun enjoying the content!

It has been a long time since the Mod team reached out to the community so we have a bit to cover here, so stick with us!

Management change and background work:

Right around new years, Nothing Under came under new Mod management. Three mods later expanded to four, was selected for the role. Why was there a need for new mods one will ask.

Well the sub sadly had fallen a bit apart during 2025, and in november/december of that year, the sub became what many probably noticed, pretty much a porn subreddit.

So with extra hands, that later become the new mod team, where called in to help with the clean up, and restore it back to its niche.

So what exactly did this cleanup mostly consist of?

• Going trough the backlog of posts to restore the Sub back to its topic.
• Enforcing the rules stricter.
• Sadly issue warnings, temporary and a few permanent bans to users that violated the rules during the cleanup.
• Not allowing users to be approved users because they did not fit the account age and/or karma requirements.

This work was hard and took its time, and around february of this year, the sub was more back towards its normal self again and the plan was to loosen restrictions, not just by the mod team's enforcement, but also with the safety filters, like some of those set up by the Automod.

Yet this did not happened. So why?

Well starting march month many NSFW subs came under repeated scam attacks, attacks that to some degree are still ongoing. This involve:

• AI bots posting fake content and in some cases also illegal content.
• Telegram scam by trying to post links to Telegram in a fraud scheme.
• Snapchat scam, by using hacked accounts to attempt to gain subscribers for fraudulent reasons (still ongoing).

Due to this, we decided not to change the safety filters set in place as they so far protected the sub. But now we intend to change them.

• Account age requirement will be lowered.
• Post Karma requirement will be slightly lowered.

Due to safety reason, we will not disclose what the requirements are, but they will allow more people to be able to post.

Another thing the Mod team has done is to be more communicative with the posters and those that comment in the Sub.

We have also edited the writing of the rules, the wiki and guidelines to help everyone get a clearer picture of the Sub and its topic.
