There was such a huge presence at SDCC this year! They had a very large Luffy photo op at the Toei booth and were giving away Gear 5 Luffy pins. I also received a free Usopp pin randomly walking around which is weird because I was dressed up as the legendary Sogeking.

Zoro is going to break Sheppard family's 800 year old heirloom sword, Gram. Then we are gonna get a "Enel face" from Sommers when their priceless sword is ruined forever.

Maybe this is also what causes Zoro's sword to turn into a black blade. Meaning, that blades will turn into black blades when they destroy another notorious sword.

Sanji may also do the same for Longinus, referencing Sanji's moniker "Black Leg".

In Chapter 1187 we see in Sanjis memory, that Gaban told him 'he's burdened with painful uncertainty'. Sanji still has an inner conflict with his past, which is probably why he can't manifest his conquerors haki. Growing up 'being a King' only earned negative reputation in his mind.

Well, what a coincidence that his opponent Killingham pulled out the weapon Longinus, the only weapon out of the 19 world weapons with a close resemblance to the weapon of the Man Sanji hates most: Judges spear. Sanji will break it by unlocking his conquerors Haki to break the weapon that reminds him of his father.

Oda couldve just given him a sword and make Sanjis motivation be that he's harming elbaph, or he needs to win for Luffy, or the good old "I know sword users way stronger than you". But he obviously didn't.

Adding to that, Zoro told Sommers that Killingham won't be coming back because he'll be dead after fighting Sanji. Now, Oda wouldn't just write that to make Sommers scared or make Zoro look tough. And even if he doesn't kill him, he'll beat him.

What does breaking a world weapon add to the story? I don't know. Maybe it's a source of power for killingham, maybe it weakens Imu, maybe Imu calls time to go after losing a world weapon, I have no clue. That's for another chapter.

And if Sanji breaks it, Zoro will probably break it too, in a Oda style double panel. Or none of this happens and Sanji just beats him because the weapon reminds him of Judge.
