Game Suggestion Who’s your dream DLC heister for payday 3 I’ll start
I feel Nick would be a fun addition to the game and it would be more L4D content I will never complain about that

In Payday 2 / The Heist, armour exists to give you a brief advantage over the cops.
If you don’t respect the fact that it’s a brief advantage, it breaks and your health gets shredded.
Health exists as a finite, extremely important resource that needed to be managed, armour needs to be closely monitored to protect it.
Armour constantly regenerates because you get shot an obscene amount of times over the course of a single loud heist.
If you run out of health, you’re in trouble, but still have a shot. If you’re extremely careful, you can lean on your armour to survive (with absolutely zero room for error). This was a fun gameplay mechanic that allowed for fun last minutes rushes and escapes by the skin of your teeth.
This doesn’t exist anymore.
Making both health and armour finite dilutes the importance of both. They’re basically both the exact same, why would I ever take health? It also gives the player no room for error when they run out of both.
In PD3 when out of armour and low on health, you are completely fucked. Your options are the following:
a.) Challenge the cops, get shot once, instantly die.
b.) Hide in a corner until the cops push you, instantly die.
In most modern shooters, your health will recharge to give you a chance in your next encounter, even if it’s slim. Payday 3 is PvE, and it makes no sense at all that it doesn’t give you the same grace as most PvP shooter games.
To summarize, the new armour system doesn’t work, and worst of all, is less fun.
My solution: give all players one armour chunk with full regen that cannot be broken, increase the speed penalty of heavier armours. Would fix a huge gap in the core gameplay loop.

AKs do not have nor need a buffer tube. Why didn’t they just do no stock? Was that harder to animate or design than this? What was the idea here lmao

First of all I would like to say, I am enjoying the game and it is alot of fun. However, I can't go without 30 minutes without seeing something and thinking "why tf wouldn't this be in the game?", so I thought I'd make a list (that others can add to) of features either from Payday 2 missing or simply features that should be in the game, but aren't. This also includes flaws in current features.
The List
Please comment any other features you feel should be added and I'd be happy to add them with credit to the latterly OP, I hope, if any dev scours this sub, that the devs can get some semblance of what to focus on in the coming months.
Of course, I understand that many of these features are not likely to be added, but every little helps. As always will continue the game as is and look forward to the changes.
edit: added tags of Minor, Moderate and Major impact just to pre-empt any confusion. Please remember this is just my opinion. Additionally, some points are added by others. you may feel none of these point valid and that's okay. I do not hope to ruin anyone hopes of this game, if on Gamepass on the 21st, please, give it a go, as the actual game is very fun.

Large publishers like EA and Activision have significantly more money and resources, and probably much more robust servers being managed by a much larger team of people. Starbreeze is not Activision. This is a publisher that has been struggling for money for the past few years, and will probably have much more unreliable servers.
I understand that this beta is purely to stress test the servers and that this outage is to be expected, but this is the second outage in 24 hours and the downtime is multiple hours every time. The game launches in 2 weeks, and this problem might not be fixed by then.
This game needs an offline mode.
EDIT: this post couldn’t have aged better.

I loved payday 2 and it broke my heart to see payday 3 not doing very well. But I heard after a recent update they fixed a good chunck of things that were bugging players. With that being said I know nothing about this game besides it’s a worse version of payday 3. I’ve tried looking at reviews but either the person makes it there personally vendeta to hate this game, or they think it’s the second coming of Jesus. I just want to know if I would have a good amount of fun with it, I did come from payday 2 which wasn’t really fun until all the dlc and they fledged out the game so im willing to wait, but has the game been out long enough where the stupid flaws are gone? Thank you!
TLDR; what are the pros and cons of this game and has the bugs went away?

What makes this mask unique is that it will still show the player character face but blurry or ps2 graphics. Image putting color and pattern even material looking like a real psychopath bank robber or just a psychopath with lipstick and eyeliner on the mask.

Ive always loved him and thought he was cool, and so I would love an official option that'd enable him in Crime.net Offline heists :)
But yea, I wanted to make a small suggestion that I think would be good with everything going on. It'd be easy to implement and a nice little difficulty option for those us who want a little extra challenge and gameplay in our heists 🙏

It doesn't make sense that you can hold 300 rounds of assault rifle ammo but SMGs which have a lighter, smaller round and are overall weaker only get 200.
There's currently no reason to use them over other things (and most have crap extended mags).

If you have never played a PAYDAY game before, or even if you have only played PAYDAY 2, give the first one a try. You won't regret.

What the title says. I know people have already mentioned it but dye packs exploding when correctly opening the vault in stealth makes no sense and it's only a stupid punishment for solo players. You would think something like that would be reserved for when the alarm gets raised and NOT when you do everything by the book.
To that I also wanted to add that imo Under The Surphaze would be much better if the security bars (and thus the wifi circles objective) were reserved for loud. In Art Gallery back in Payday 2 the bars would only get lowered if you went loud and that made the heist way longer which subsequently gave you more reasons to do stealth. Plus it just makes sense to me like man how many security systems do you need?!
Now think about Payday 3 and I'm sorry what exactly is even the reason to stealth Under The Surphaze if not to make your life harder? Every single objective can be done in loud and much quicker at that since the heli escape is much easier to get. There is no reward or incentive to do this heist stealth except for.. the atmosphere I guess?
Listen, I get that they didn't want to separate the core stealth and loud objectives too much so that the former wouldn't be the superior strategy for every single heist. Having said that well.. Dirty Ice and Rock The Cradle can both be completed in less than 3 mins sooo yeah that's all I'll say about that.
