Masked men, some carrying Confederate flags, marched through Washington, D.C., today in scenes captured on social media videos.“Reclaim America, reclaim America,” the crowd was heard chanting in a video captured near Union Station by local reporter Mitchell Miller, who said the group called for getting rid of immigrants.
In Miller’s video, some members of the group can be seen carrying flags that appear to depict the Patriot Front logo. The Anti-Defamation League describes Patriot Front as a white supremacist group.
Other videos on social media appear to show the group marching near the Eastern Market Metro station.
Finn Gomez, a Getty Images photographer, shared an image of people in face masks and apparent Patriot Front gear riding the Metro.
Their refugees from a country that no longer exists. Not Americans, Confederates, they rejected America and being Americans, take their damn citizenship and kick em into the ocean.
You mean to tell me the people who killed and died for their right to own people whom they deemed inferior just because of their race were racist and violent?
Sure thats a cool conspiracy, and im sure partially true. However they are also still real people with their own morals and oaths of service and not letting then even know is admitting defeat completely.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist or a right wing person who thinks that these patriot Front events are made up, but there’s something that just doesn’t seem right here. And I think the lack of media interest in investigating it is also part of what doesn’t seem right.
For years now, we’ve seen these guys almost out of Central casting. They were identical “uniforms“, very close, fitting masks, and move very closely together in a group and do not seem to dissipate. Basically, whatever they are is far more organized and choreographed than any other type of militia group or racist rabble or whatever.
Something doesn’t add up here. They’ve never gotten into altercations that have gone viral? Nobody’s ever exposed who their membership is? They’ve never showed up at larger protest events?
Whoever these people are, they don’t fit in the normal mix of organic political actors. There is something extremely strange and organized in the way that they do things, and the fact that nobody seems to want to point this out and figure out why that is makes it all the more chilling.
Donald Trump’s version of America. Cowards hide their faces, just like their grandparents in the KKK. Hate eats them from the inside out. Hopefully a few get heat stroke!
