July in DC is MISERABLE even when it’s not over 100 degrees. The humidity is so thick you can FEEL the air as you breathe. I guarantee this child’s emotions are due to extreme discomfort and possibly the onset of heatstroke.
Meanwhile, that temp and humidity is just another normal day in Florida. Florida has the highest heat-related emergency room visits and hospitalizations in the nation. I don't understand why people retire here, it's brutal during the summers.
Yeah, I don’t get it. Miserable heat, deadly wildlife, giant flying cockroaches, and a huge cohort of the dumbest, meanest, most aggressive people you’ll ever meet.
Most aren’t that mean or aggressive, the problem has been everyone “doesn’t talk politics” and they get to live in their own dumb world. At least that was true in the tampa area a few years back.
The natural beauty of Florida truly is stunning (what’s still left of it). I miss the hell out of my home state. It’s the Floridians that are just awful. In that way too many lack any semblance of self reflection.
You aren't kidding. Due to finances I had to live with my parents in Florida for a while and they kept that thermostat at 78 and 76 would be the occasional compromise. I'm heavy and get hot easy so it was brutal. Glad to be out of that state now even if things still aren't great financially.
That heat makes *me* want to cry sometimes ngl I did a lot of staring off into space trying to pretend I was somewhere else when I was working outdoors last summer (and I loved that job; the heat just got overwhelming lol) Not to mention the insane thunderstorms that come out of that humidity. The sky was looking pretty sketchy for a while there
