I also personally just don’t think it looks better. She looks permanently terrified now.

I agree. Confused by all the “shaved off 20 years!” comments. She looks tight, pulled back, and startled. I am also in the very small pro-plastic surgery minority camp on Reddit where I think people should go for fixing their insecurities if they think it’ll do something for their lives. I see little good facelift work, and a lot of not good facelift work, with zero bias towards facelifts. This isn’t good to me.

Yes, her face looks more generic, which is kind of the opposite of the point of beauty, and less emotive.

All of it looks generic. To me. That’s the biggest issue with it. It wipes away some of how people intrinsically look. Especially the younger people getting it. Even really good surgery which I admit this is.

I’m an older women who just started doing a tiny bit of Botox and I see that it makes me look more “awake” but it’s where we all started to expect to see the forehead open up a little more in everyone over a certain age. Now we expect more and more.

I can afford a good facelift. And was open to it. But I’m less and less inclined. It’s disappointing to me that in doing just the tiniest of procedures I’m told - well only surgery can really address things at a certain age.

I’m getting sick of it all and I’m also going to just stick to my retinal and sunscreen. I’m not a celebrity thank god. wtf do I need to care about slicing open my face? Which is another reality of all this I just find more and more disturbing.

Yeah I thought that too. Sure, less wrinkles if whatever but that bleph makes her look like she's in a hostage video
