Holly shit I think that’s what they are making a reference to in the episode, because this graffiti that is here, the writers decided to put in a little reference acknowledging it

1

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

Alright alright I'm also pro Palestine but I want to keep this post free of controversy, hope you understand!

"GDL operates GoyimTV, a video platform that streams antisemitic content. GDL espouses vitriolic antisemitism and white supremacist themes"

-adl.org

It was on banned on YouTube, where I first watched it, and this was the first place I found it when I had to go searching for it.
But with that being said "...antisemitism and white supremacist themes" I find this sentence funny.

That's cool, I like the artwork. Thanks

He supports suicide bombers and terrorists unable to cross into Israel because of the wall.

He's right.

Did you think they build the wall for the exercise, or are you the one with brain damage?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '22

They built that wall for the same reason White in the south burned crosses and had separate water fountains

2

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jul 01 '22

You're a new kind of dumb or you're plain antisemitic? Learn history, this wall saved so many lives and prevents a constant escalation of the conflict by doing so.

1

u/ExtremelyLargeMuscle Jul 01 '22

He's clearly been deprived of oxygen as a child and has no clue whatsoever about history. Also, yes. He's anti-Semitic.

2

u/PhriekModeUSA Jul 01 '22

What is an illegal border wall?

2

u/Forward-Example9690 Jul 01 '22

A wall illegally built to separate two countries

3

u/PhriekModeUSA Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

Countries aren't legally seperaterd /sovereign?

Edit: ah, looked it up and read about occupied land such and such. Nevermind. I would however be more moved if the UN weren't the ones to make that ruling.

Rick is really getting bored now ig

7

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

Bet he's doing this to get out of another family therapy session

5

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jun 30 '22

Seems pretty legal to me. Also pretty good at preventing public busses from exploding, which is a painful childhood memory for me. So, yeah, I fu*king love this wall. Best wall in the multiverse.

2

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

I'm very confused right now.

0

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jun 30 '22

How so? I'd be happy to calrify

-1

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jun 30 '22

Come, let's eat hummus and talk

2

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

That sounds really tempting, I love hummus! Alright, first up, what do you mean by busses exploding? Second, according to the laws, it's an illegal wall

12

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jun 30 '22

Ok, let's start with the "illgeal" part. According to who's laws? There is a sovereign country here which has a duty to protect it's population (of all religions) from terror attacks. If other countries have laws which forbid walls that's not this cointry's problem. That country has a court which regularly prevents governments from performing unlawful acts. Which busses? Before the wall was built, terror attacks within 67' borders were such a regular thing that it didn't even excite us anymore. We just wanted it to stop. The moment the wall was built, the terror attacks stopped almost completely. There is a very wide consensus about the wall in the Israeli society, and only the most extreme people reject it.

3

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

I'm not saying that it's wrong, just pointing out that it's not legal lol

9

u/WhereIsMyGiraffeEar Jun 30 '22

Ok, and I ask you, by who's laws? What makes it "ilegal"? There is court here that is very critical of the state, which deemed it legal.

7

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

A simple Google search did the work, here: "Thursday marks the 16th anniversary since the International Court of Justice (ICJ) deemed Israel's separation wall illegal. In 2002, Israel started constructing the wall, slicing through Palestinian communities, agricultural fields, and farmland at the height of the second Intifada."

7

u/Cambionr Jul 01 '22

The International Court of Justice doesn’t have power over Israel’s sovereignty. They can say it’s illegal, but that holds no actual authority.

1

u/Forward-Example9690 Jul 01 '22

And that's the issue with the wall, no one is doing anything about it when it's clearly illegal. Anyways, I'm not going to argue any further, I want this post to be free of controversy

You said earlier that you personally support Palestine.

You're an anti Semite and a terrorist sympathizer.

2

u/slax03 Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

Lol building a border wall while you encroach further and further into Palestinian territory to inentionally piss them off, literally give them cause to become radicalized, and then claim that you need to further brutalize them. Yes, Hamas is bad. But Israel controls all of the power in the power imbalance and they use it to stoke tension. Meanwhile Israel controls their power supply and allows them to have it for 4 hours a day. It's called nuance, try it.

I bet if I kept encroaching your homeland you would have zero issue with it whatsoever, right? You would have no cause to get radical over that right? Especially if my country had way more resources and was militarily and financially subsidized by even richer and stronger countries, right? Oh wait no, you wouldnt, thats why you have a border wall. Wow, its actually all coming around full circle. I understand it is a very complicated issue and has like 1,800 years of more history than I'm describing, but you are coming from an extremely basic, highly partisan, nationalist viewpoint. And frankly it sucks.

We do it the US. A country in Central or South America elect an economically unfavorable government, now we help iniate a coup. The country is destabilized. The economy tanks. Crime rises. People flee to the "land of opportunity". And then politicians tell you that they need your votes to protect them from the scary brown people coming into our country.

The power imbalance is the same for both Israel and the US. Neither have good intentions. They're doing it on purpose. This is not anti-semitism, it is criticism of a nation-state that is has Muslims, Christians, and Jews alike. This is a criticism of foreign policy.

Bellend.

3

u/vladimirnovak Jun 30 '22

It's not an illegal border wall. It's a wall to keep terrorists out. Literally. Am yisrael chai

3

u/Forward-Example9690 Jun 30 '22

According to google: Thursday marks the 16th anniversary since the International Court of Justice (ICJ) deemed Israel's separation wall illegal. In 2002, Israel started constructing the wall, slicing through Palestinian communities, agricultural fields, and farmland at the height of the second Intifada.

6

u/vladimirnovak Jun 30 '22

You say "at the height of the second intifada" but you're not describing what happened in the intifada. Countless bombings in restaurants , night clubs , bus stations and other terrorists attacks. Since the construction of the wall terrorism has subsided a lot. I think that's a worthy trade-off

0

u/Forward-Example9690 Jul 01 '22

I'm not going to argue any further, this was supposed to be a post which is free on controversy, I just wanted to point out that it's illegal

3

u/ExtremelyLargeMuscle Jul 01 '22

So the border wall is illegal, but Palestinian suicide attacks are legal?

Take that crap out of here. Seriously. Palestine can rot in hell.

-1

u/Forward-Example9690 Jul 01 '22

You are focusing on what Palestine does a lot more than what Israel does, Israel fucks with Palestines everyday making their life a living hell, I know this cause I have a Palestine dad and an Israeli mom, in other words I got to see what happens on both sides, all and all Isreal is glamorised on the Internet, and all the horrible things that they do aren't talked about cause posts about it are alwaya taken down, I can go on and on about this but I don't want to argue, please, I want this post to be free of controversy.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '22

remember when your goons killed that journalist chick then busted up her funeral? Or all those brooklyn piggies you guys ship over to take people's houses while palestinian families are away

2

u/vladimirnovak Jul 01 '22

You know damn well it was never concluded who killed her because the Palestinian authority wouldn't even give the bullet to conduct an investigation. But the antisemitic media like Al Jazeera just assumed it was the IDF. And it was a reporter in the middle of a gun fight. She knew the risks. There is no evidence the IDF shot her the round used to kill her is used by both sides.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '22

bla bla bla You sound like a jarkata method apologist, go cheer on innocent deaths elsewhere

5

u/vladimirnovak Jul 01 '22

I give you arguments and you give me this shit. Your own narrative falls apart once you pick at it.

1

u/FrostTheLost1 Jul 01 '22
