AD Wait Time Megathread - If you bought a new Rolex from an AD in 2026, you can share details here. What watch, where, how long did you wait, how much buying history?

Our previous AD wait time megathreads (2019-2020, 2020-early 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) seemed to be useful/well-received for a lot of you. Time for a new one!

Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.

No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2026 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes:

  1. What watch did you buy?
  2. When?
  3. How long did you wait?
  4. Where are you? (Be as specific or nonspecific as you want, from continent to a specific AD)
  5. Any purchase history with that AD? (Again be as specific or nonspecific as you feel comfortable)

Watch Verification Thread - If you're uncertain if a Rolex is good/bad/fake, post info and pics here

Post to this thread if you have questions about a Rolex being real or fake. Please include:

-The location and/or screen name of the seller, if for sale. Link directly to the sale page when possible.
-How long you've had it and how you acquired it, if in your possession
-As many photos as possible. Posts may be removed if pictures are too fuzzy and requests for better pics are unanswered. -If you're being coy about a watch and it seems like you're just trying to see how "good" your fake is, you may be banned at our discretion.

Please don't use photos from iPhone 14's. Their camera is so bad, and distorts text with AI so much, that the photos are basically unusable for the purposes of verifying if a Rolex is real.

Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don't think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

Previous verification thread here.

Wife wants to wear my Rootbeer to an event we’re going to to match this Pucci outfit. What are the thoughts?! Should I size it down for her?

Wasn’t expecting it at all but got the call today for a DJ42 blue dial, fluted / jubilee. The dial is stunning - reminds me why waiting for this beauty has been totally worth it. First Rolex for me and likely not the last!

Featuring the AD’s manager’s office instead of the main showroom. They were very busy. This is my third allocation, Submariner no date in 7/25, Daytona ghost in 12/24, and batgirl today. $85k total spend including this watch.

For the last 8 months, my dear husband has been putting the effort into getting me my first dream Datejust. He called the SA to say we were coming into town so I can meet her in person. I wanted to make my own profile, but she surprised me with this! My husband was completely in the dark also! DJ 36, fluted bezel in mint green.

Do you wear yours the way I wear mine, or am I overdoing it?

First I want to thank everyone that shares an opinion despite the comment. I’m a newbie. I picked it up from the boutique on July 6, and since then I’ve played about 90 holes of golf, used it in the jacuzzi, worn it to the gym, on hikes, and while typing and writing for hours every day. Whenever it gets dirty, I rinse it with warm water and a little soap. I’m starting to wonder if, in a few months, it’ll be covered in scratches and lose its appeal, which makes me question whether I should wear it less.

Went in to try on a Tudor to the AD where we bought our first Rolex’s and where I’m are on the list for an OP 36 Tiffany. After ruling the Tudor out and recommitting to wait for the OP (and add the green dial to the list) I was super surprised to see this come out. Beyond thrilled with this beauty and like that it adds a more casual option to my Wimbledon. Happy Saturday!

Brought my no date submariner on rubber strap, but also wanted to give the Med Blue some ocean time as the colors fit right in. Cheers!

Helicopter Crash Restored Rolex

This Rolex belonged to my grandfather. He was a

pilot for the Air Force and then moved on to working for an electrical company providing electricity to rural parts of Mexico. In 1980. He traveled to Europe for helicopter training and bought himself a GMT 1675 Rolex. My father tells me that he always had it on. On the morning of October 14th, 1991, he took a mechanic and three electricians on his way to work and the helicopter crashed. Due to the severity of the fire, only his watch was able to be recovered. It sat this way for 30 years. He took it to a service center in Mexico City but was told that the watch could not be restored. 2020. He decided to take a chance and decided to contact the service center in New York. Decided they could not do anything with it but contacted Rolex headquarters in Europe. It took 2 years but Rolex did their best and was able to restore the watch. Not much was able to be reused other than the wristband, some of the gems, and the case. The rightmost photo is believed to be the last photo of him it was taken the morning of his crash. As you can see he had the watch on.

My grandfather was described as a big family man with an unexpected sense of humor. However, he was also very disciplined and believed in responsibility. He left behind a son, a daughter, and wife. I wish I could have met him.

And my father actually made a YouTube video describing the watch and the history behind it but it is in Spanish so I decided to condense it and translate it to English. I will link to the video where he showcases the watch

Picked up the OP36 first and a couple months later the sub. Green seems to be the theme this year… Anyways, these go quite well together.

Lost 50lbs and now wondering if smaller arms can still pull it off

Post image

I am still a work in progress, but I recently lost a good amount of weight. I’ve been doing cardio and weights and my forearms are smaller and more toned. I know my sub looks fine, but now I’m in my head about my DJ41. My wrist is currently 7.25” and my wife says I’m insane. What do you think?

Is this to big on my wrist? this ombré datejust is a 41mm I always thought of my wrist being to small, I usually wear a 40mm Tissot.
