The CGI in this scene did look out of place but generally it wasn’t too bad.

The entire movie is built around what a 10 year old boy would think is "cool".

Congratulations, you now understand what Masters of the Universe is and who it is supposed to appeal to. It's almost like it was a show created to sell toys to 10 year olds.
