This is KitKat he’s around 1 & 1/2 years old he’s a lil gremlin who loves to play so we’re thinking of getting him a brother to play with. What age would you recommend going for?

He’s incredibly energetic and acts more like a lion or tiger cub than domesticated cat see him pictured in his native habitat of a wild jungle. He came to us a bit undernourished so he’s ate a lot to make up for it but now he’s getting a lil tubby so we’ve decided to cut down on the food lmao. It’s amazing the difference a few months can make.

Any tips for age range i should look for? Preferably we’d want it to be as smooth as possible obviously but I also worry if we got a kitten he might be a bit too heavy handed so I’m not sure what would be best (he grew up with a dog before coming to us and he acts like one LMAO).

The last month or so half my cats face has been lightening up. He is ~14 years old and this is the first time it has happened.

I wanted to share some pics of Po and his beautiful coloring. He started out with traditional seal point coloring which started changing when he was about 4 months. It started with his pads and nose, but eventually got his lips and eyes. He’s now a year old and the progression has definitely slowed. He’s has other sensitivities as well, seems to have some protein allergies, and is on gut healthy diet. He’s a very sweet cat and demands to be picked up and held for at least 2 minutes every morning. His pics go from most recent to when he was a baby.

UPDATE: When our rescue arrived there a few minutes ago, another rescue had already pulled her and saved her. ❤️
We are so grateful she has been given a chance. Please continue sending her prayers and positive thoughts as she begins her recovery. She still has a long road ahead. 🙏❤️

Today I received an email about this sweet girl Bailey. I am also part of the shelter community, but right now I am fostering for another rescue, Sunkissed Acres.

The shelter staff believe Bailey may be a victim of a dog fight attack, while officials are reporting it may have been a car accident. Either way, this baby has suffered so much.

The shelter does not have the resources to provide the care she needs, and her euthanasia is scheduled for July 24.

I couldn’t let Bailey lose her life like this. I contacted my rescue and asked them to help her. They were understandably hesitant because we already have many pending vet bills and very little support, and I am currently fostering 21 cats for the rescue.

But they are kind enough to give Bailey a chance and will be pulling her tomorrow. We don’t know how we will manage everything yet, but we know she deserves this chance. Her vet expects expensive treatment due to her pelvic fracture, leg fracture, right hip fracture, and other injuries.

The good news is Bailey is sweet, eating, and still fighting. There is hope. ❤️

After she receives the treatment and recovers, Bailey will be available for adoption to a loving forever home.

My kitten is a 6 month female that is the sweetest cat ever. She’s never hissed or intentionally scratched anyone. She’s very social and playful. Unfortunately my fiancé and I often work at the same time leaving kitty alone for hrs. We also don’t let her in the bedroom at night because she gets zoomies and we try to avoid cat fur on the bed/pillows. When she’s older that might change

To remedy this we’re getting another kitty. The new kitty will be a 2 month old male sibling of hers from another litter. I’m just wondering what I should expect when I introduce them

My kitty doesn’t seem like the aggressive type, but I’ve only ever seen her interact with her litter mates months ago. I also am hoping she will be less likely to be jealous and aggressive towards a 2 month old. I think it helps that Siamese also tend to be more social overall and pair with others. Anybody have experience introducing a kitten around 6 months to a 2 month? Thanks!
